I'd take the H701 over the P9.

Although that RUX is a PITA to use, at least the one I was shown was...

I will too, but exclusively based on the fact that there are more methods of controlling it. Having a single standalone piece is a bummer if it dies on you in the future when the rest isn't available. The H701 has so many control options and keep coming with new ones, even if they suck at least it is something.

Love to hear more about it as I am lazy and don't feel like looking but like the idea.

just some white led's i got from a local shop for ~ 50c each. 4 led's and one 1/4w 1 ohm resiztor all wired in series.

the "schematic" is from an online calculator. figured i'd get ~12v, but when i checked it it was 9v @ idle and 10.5v reved as much as i can before the centrifugal clutch kicks in :)

putting on the brakes drops the voltage in the turn signals to 8v. guess i'll do the big 3 in the scooter too

Sometimes I admit, there are threads that I really approach my temper limit. It is sad that I have to tell myself, f-it, its only e-tards.

only downside is that led's are rather directional compared to a regular bulb. but i can spread them across a larger area :D
