I was off of coke products and anything besides skim milk or water for the longest time. That was when I cared, I probably should stay off of coke products though. I've been drinking vaults at work and it's starting to become a routine. THAT = bad.

I too have been trying to cut down on sodas, and I've been feeling better since.

It's really quite impressive how much better you feel without soda.

Same goes for a lot of things ;)

Yes, I keep meaning to cut down on the heroin usage.

Ryan1, does an '01 Bullitt have a power steering assisted brake booster?

It has a booster unlike anything I've seen before and PS assisted would be my guess.

No booster. It has both power steering and power brakes, but the brakes are hydraboost.

Isn't that what hydraboost is though? Using pressure from the PS system to boost the brakes? Or am I mistaken here?

shelby-gt500-burnout.jpg

That's the new gt500 . I got to drive the shelby gt :(

nothing but a mustang with a body kit

There's a little more to it than that . About 3k worth of chit from ford extra on the shelby gt that they charge you like 15k extra for :(

:(

That picture is actually of the Ford Mustang GT500. No body kit. Different Front fascia and side skirts, but underhood is the BIG change. Supercharged 5.4 DOHC like the Ford GT, but with an iron block and a sumped oiling system.

Same way that people argue continually about Ford vs. Chevy and so on. People by nature want to prove that they are right and arguing/debating is how that gets done... It also helps that the internet is such an easy to to do that because of the lack of face to face communication.

I'm not arguing about it anymore I was just putting in my .02

I didn't argue either. I just stated that if where you are from that is a system, where you are from sucks. No slam on the person even just the people that live around him.

You are correct, but, well, when you say booster, I think of the original round can booster you see on vacuum assisted vehicles. Hydraboost is more just like a valve.

I used to have some good information on this, and I actually met the inventor of hydraboost braking systems once. He's good friends with a former boss and Bendix world HQ are in South Bend.

Sean, are you going to be home the next few days?

I fly home tonight, work in the AM summer nat's in the afternoon, off out of town for a wedding saturday, fishing with the inlaws Sunday and visiting local customers Monday but home.

I met the guy who invented the gas discharge brake light for FoMoCo.

If I DO get the urge to have some soda, it's only one and a caffeine-free Sierra Mist. "Yeah, it's like that!"

Ahh, relief. If I couldn't let go, I'd have a lot of built up "energy"

I know what you're saying, but I'll have to disagree. IF you have the need for a cam that has such an overlap that you don't have enough vacuum to run power brakes, you shouldn't NEED power brakes because that thing should only be run on the track.

So my Cobra is going to have the stock appearance aside from the rear seat. I am debating on whether or not to make it over the top or subtle. I have some sweet ass ideas, but I don't want someone to look in the car and see a stock appearance in the front and then "BOOM" in the back.
