mayne y0 my subz be hittin hawd dawg

I guess the phrase that bothers me is "bumpin' my music". You don't bump music, you listen to it. The only thing that means to me is that the music itself has so little value that the only redeemable thing about it is the loud farting noises.

ha ha

It's just sad that most modern music that's commercially successful today is:

a ) gangsta rap marketed to white suburbanites

b ) whiny "R&B"

c ) "rock" sung by men in girl's jeans

d ) the same recycled chords and percussion masquerading as "metal"

:(

I'd even go so far as to say I dislike most songs with a chorus.

Sooooooo much harder to do work when it's not required, vs. when it's the difference between a good grade and a bad one.

Little voice in my mind telling me to take my B- and go :(

In life it doesn't matter all that much...unless grad school is next.

There is no more gangsta rap. Hasn't been for a while. As a matter of fact, there is no rap anymore. It's all hip-hop. Let's all talk about our rim sizes, our gold teeth, shoes, clothes, and other gay shit that we have from having absolutely ZERO talent at all.

Now late 80s, early 90s REAL rap I love! Tell me a story dammit with a great beat and a POINT. Many dislike it, but the hardcore shit is great. IT's like any other music, minus the actual instrumentation. They are conveying their lives through their lyrics. Nowadays, it's all about selling records. There's no reality to it, no story, no reason other than lining record execs' pockets with money.

All R&B is whiny. That's the nature of the music.

Rock, I will agree with you there, but it's been that way for a while. The big hair bands started that trend.

As for the metal, well, all I hear anymore is screaming. No rhythym, no rhyme, no apparent reason, just screaming.

The rarity occurs. Procrastination setting in perhaps.

I go there to see if I have PM on the deck and of course see titles in the top that I had to click on.

I've given up for now. It's just too dumb. The last time I was logged on, it was to ban two douchecicles that had an attitude with me on AIM, and the lazy prick who never sent me an Ipod for doing his work for him.

I might post on there again later this summer, just to shut up the 60" plasma-and-cube-speaker-crowd that complains I never post pictures of my setup.

That's my kinda setup right there.

As shown, those speakers are around $12k with the supertweets, $1.5k subwoofer, $1.5k in amps. And rockin' the $250 TV :D

Dude stopped responding to my PMs.

Banhammer dropped.

It's not like it cost me anything, but it pisses me off that our generation is full of lying snots that serve no purpose.

I think what they fail to realize is, is that even though the programming looks better, you can only polish a turd so far...:)

Watching chit in 1080p is still...well, chit.

Its the difference between cable and satellite, cable only has 25 channels of crap, while satellite has 100+.

The homemade 4-gang outlet strip is my favorite thing in that setup :D

What's sad is...I'm going to basically have something very, very close to that for about a tenth of the price of that.

DIY is...FTW.
