Add on a big block, power disc brakes, some tools, roadside stuff, people, etc, etc. And when you've got a car that dosen't have any plastic or fiberglass to speak of really in it....

Its one of the reasons that I won't race anyone in it. I'll burn the tires off but I won't race. I'd get my ass handed to me, most people don't realize that stock muslce cars aren't really all that fast in this day and age.

The worst thing is the chevelle has a tiny ass fuel tank too. Whoever put that small of a tank (its like 15 gallons) in a big block car needed smacked.

Thats about my guess as well, maybe low 15's depending on the tires. It dosen't hook for chit, its got old tires on it.

Never really looked before. Even my 89 Porsche 944 was close to 3k lbs with its "little" 4 cylinder.
