I know I'm getting close to gym time...just waiting on a certain PM

I've been getting back into guitar a lot lately. Learning new scales and such. I'm actually going back to my roots, metallica before the got horrible. Anything after the black album IMO isn't that great. Except S&M which I'm watching right now.

I've got a cheap ass Ibanez bass, a real old original Roadstar Axe with the floyd rose, and a 56 Gibson L5.

my bass is the suxors....blah, blah...

gym time last night was good...going again tonight. missed a night, making up for it tonight. then again tomorrow night..lol..and then some cardio over the weekend. good news is the weight is slowly coming off. when i started this mess, i was 235. scaled this morning at 227. 8 pds in just over two weeks. that's cool. and i'm noticing a bit of strength coming back. added some weight (5pds)to a few excercises last night and still finished the reps/sets. it's all good. making sure form is tops. now if the waist would just shrink a bit, lol.

If anyone wants to be rid of a headunit that does active, let me know. The M is donating its crossover to bookshelf design and needs a headunit. I would prefer one that does mp3's since it will probably end up in my boat when I finally save up for an offboard processor for the car.

It does seem to bastardize everything to have an SQ setup and ask for mp3. For the sake of carrying lots of music though it is nice, especially on a boat where stuff seems to float away periodically.

Luckily I am by far his favorite nephew. As soon as any of them are "broken in" he likes to come over and have me give him a ride.

He wants me to sell the M and buy the SRT-10. If the price were really right, I might but it would almost have to be a trade as I like the M better.
