Using a little M then I presume?

4's.

Aura? TB?

tis a sekret

Actually wondering why not 3's more than what drivers. I guess if you don't intend to run a sub even with 16 3's it may be hard to get much below 100Hz but the B3S Hi-Vi looks like it was made for what you are doing.

Some legatia L3's on custom enclosures at the base of each windshield pillar  :OhYeah:  :)

I have almost ordered a set of those a few times, not sure where I put them but most likely in the kicks in the truck with a passive to the LPG.

I'd prefer to do the dash thing, but know that they would get my truck jacked parking in Chitown.

I wanna have a go SQ wise at a truck like yours . Haven't had the pleasure yet . Seems a challenge from what I hear. Maybe some day :)

I'd almost drive out there for that.

CB I am not being critical of your schedule, as a short lived high school teacher myself, that schedule is a joke.

CB I am not being critical of your schedule, as a short lived high school teacher myself, that schedule is a joke.  There is no way when I was in my senior year would I have been able to take that.

Mine was along the lines of Biology, Chemistry, History, English writting, Physics, and Yearbook.  Colleges at the time did not want to see a student back down on their work load just because it was their last year.

X2 but maybe you don't aspire to go to a college that would care?

:okasshat:

I'm goingto graduate with 26 credits on a 24 credit scale. Teaching myself Latin Online being where the extra two credits came from. I have 3 years of Varsity Cross Country, One of JV, One year of Varsity Soccer, Two of JV, 2 Years being a member of Mu Alpha Theta, a 25 on the ACT and a 1200 on the SAT (old scale) both first tries, my next try is at the end of this semester. I had a 5 in mathmatics (perfet) on FCAT (florida standardized testing) and a 4 in Reading Comprehension. I've also been an active member of BSA my entire life and will be geting my Eagle before I graduate HS. I also plan to graduate iwth over a 4.0 Weight GPA.

So how about you learn about someone before making wise cracks. That is all.

Won't get you into an Ivy league or where I went.

I've been wondering, exactly how much pressure can be generated in a subwoofer box (in PSI please).

alot??

lol, i'm sure it's been measured before, i'm certian of it...time for google...lol..

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:

180db = 20000Pascal = 2.9PSI

But it isn't the pressure that causes problems but the dynamic pressure changing. To give you an idea, Boeing uses 180-185db to mechanically stress metal to failure. This is the reason HT guys really build the piss out of their enclosures so that the energy built in the box causes no coloration or resonant energy to be added to the signal.

Thanks!

When I finally get around to building my little home speakers I will do a resonant measurement and post a video for you all. It will be a while though since I might move first.

Ohh, sweet. I'm very interested in this.

Excuse me for forgetting, but you are going to KSU in Manhattan no? I might have to do a measurement on some pistachio's there sometime this fall, if so maybe we can even measure your speakers. I can't promise anything yet as my job title could change drastically in the next couple of weeks but eh, wtf?

Yep, I'm at KSU in manhattan. That would be sweet as hell, I would even build some other test models as well that we could play with. If you do come down sometime, give me a week or three notice if thats possible.

Of course. If I can make it happen we will try.

WHOOO HOOO! Ivy League...Where mommy and daddy are the first thing they look at as if parental alumni always make the children. Sorry my grandparents wherent Rich and decided to serve our country instead of trying to play the stock market...or better yet sorry my family doesnt have money that is hundreds of years old.

I wasn't planning on going to a school full of self infatuated preppy asses who make wise cracks about others.

I was planning on going to a University that has the second best chemistry program in the state. I'm going to go to college for the education, not the name of the college.

I think this is the point where you take foot and stick in mouth.

If you want my foot in your mouth just ask. You obviously have no REAL WORLD experience whatsoever and happen to be going back and forth about schools with someone who went to a school that has been ranked in the top 5 in the nation for the past 15 years. And from a purely academic reputation we are always first or second. And unlike your comment I am speaking about the nation, not just the state of FL.

Usually the education follows the name rather directly, in fact almost always. There are exceptions of course, for instance Harvard is a terrible undergraduate school but a stellar graduate school. I went to Carleton which has about the best academic reputation in the country, but probably a name your not familiar with. 9 out of 10 times though the schools that are harder to get into give you a better education. And if you were really in it for the education you wouldn't be taking such a cake walk senior year. It is funny because you cop an attitude that this is great and how it should be done and then don't heed your own advice.

Speaking to an empty auditorium.

I am taking the highest English I can past taking freashmen comp, the highest math I am allowed due to prerequsites, and the highest Chemistry one can take in highschool. The only other sciences I can take would be AP Bio and Marine Science... Neiehter of which compare to AP chem. Then there is AP Phsyc which is far from what I am planing on doing once I get into college. Yes that is a cake walk.

Of course if you are so high and Mighty you would know that today colleges are looking for students who take honors and AP...not dual enrollment. So it seems as if I am heeding my own advice...especially since the local community college is a joke. Anyone with half a brain doesnt call it "Lake City Community College" they call it "Last Chance Community College."
