Going to be a busy few days coming up here ... that's for sure.

Will be a few pics coming out of it. Nothing audio related, at least I don't think so. No, wait ... I lied - should be a couple HT pics at the very minimum.

VW Diesel ftw. I would own one, if it wasn't such a piece to work on.

x2. high mpg, decent power. top 1.9 tdi has 150hp...

they have a bit of small bugs, but imo, it's worth it. untill now, nothing me and dad couldn't fix. limited space and not too many tools made it more difficult.

I know, I'll ride my 29cc scooter...25mph top speed FTW.

i wish i had some papers for mine (49cc, 50mph top). i got it from a friend and it isn't registered. i could be in a bit of trouble if the 5-0 catch me. riding that 'monster' to school would be the bomb :rofl2:

college costs over here range from 1500$ to 2500$. it's alot cheaper over here.

I bid $27 and got outbid at $28, hope I didn't cost one of you guys 2 bucks but thought it was less than a hundo.

strange after all these years I just learned Ramos' last name. And Sean we need to work on getting your ebay # up.

Hence the famous relative ( certain pitcher) with same last name, coming to the family reunion this year. And why my mother calls me Ramie ;) She used to baby sit us both :)

I had saved $35k by the time I went to school and still left with $50k in debt.  I worked 40 hours a week while in school as well.

I went on a full ride athletic scholarship, and had 10k in the bank. Still came out with 10k in debt after four years. And that was eons ago :)

Only problem is I'd need a basement and restaurant hookups to make enough biodiesel to make it cost effective.

The stuff's non-toxic, but the process of making it puts you in close proximity with some nasty stuff.

The lye , ethanol, or the sodium hydroxate ? Know a guy that produces his own. Didn't look to dangerous :)

I should have pursued the US college route with hockey rather than through the junior leagues.

Do they draft hockey players and allow them to still play in college ? :)

Anarchey's cook book = a bunch of BS and misconstrued information now that I actually know some chemistry.

it was written in the 60's so what do you expect.

The attractive thing is that I wouldn't have to give up my preferences for big vehicles...a dual-tank Suburban would be a perfect vehicle to modify for straight veggie oil :)

Expedition with the power stroke :)

I hated driving my friends GMC 1500 extended cab with an 6/4 lift on 22's with 33 AT tires through traffic...but damn did that truck look good.

Bigger trucks are easy to take through traffic. The trick is remembering that you're bigger than they are, far more intimidating, and most likely their vehicle is going to be more expensive to fix.

:)

I don't know about easier, the M slices through while my truck just gets everyone out of the way. If I want to be an arse, I'd actually rather do it in the M. The gas pedal helps lots when negotiating small spaces, brakes too.

PS, If you know how to mudd and where to drive towards you dont get stuck hardly ever. :)

Actually that means you aren't going big enough, unless you call winching not getting stuck.
