That would be cool. What language is Romanian most similar to? Since your proximity to the Ukraine and Russian occupation, I'd imagine it is similar? <--sorry if that is offensive and I am way off base, but I speak Russian so the curiousity.

It would be fun to visit: medieval castles, the carpathian mts, a ride down the Danube, and Bucharest is a bit wild no?

No, after the regime had died down.  I am curious as to what the value of the E is like there.  The main reason I didn't answer is I thought you were wondering what the average board member knew about Romania and I probably know a little more even though it still is not much.

i wasn't thinking just about the average member.

value of the E ? Enlighten me please...

E is American for Euro...

I assume 89 was the year that Romania voted in your first president and joined the EU shortly after?

first elections were in 92.. i guess. i was born in 88 so i don't remember too much from before 96ish...

i think we are going to join the EU in 2007. i definetly hope we DON'T join the EU. prices will go up. wages will stay the same. life will be even browner and stinkyer. but the averge citizen isn't thinking about the difficulties. they all dream they will work outside the country and EU will bring us only money. but i'm sure EU will bring us a lot of stupid laws.

there are a lot of places to visit over here. i still haven't had a chance to visit the Danube delta. but i hope i will.

i visited the only ice cave in europe. it was an extremly nice trip.

Bucharest = teh svck. people in the south aren't too nice. you can have a lot of fun in transilvania. especially the city i live in. lots of clubs. lots of nice looking girls.

he started a poll with price choices between 100$ and 400$. even 400$ seems acceptable.

local install. car = nissan navarra. mid-size pick-up, something like an s-10...

THat's pretty nice , I hope he sealed up all that mdf before he poured that water in there though :)

That is what I was thinking too. I coated the piss out of mine on all sides and was still reluctant to put water in it.

i don't know how to call that material in english. do you know how the sandpaper sticks to the sanders (not a belt sander or a vibration sander) ? it's the same stuff.
