OOO, it's a treat when Steve posts car audio pictures :)

Just wait until I build the '02.

Ideas running through my head like crazy ... and it's such a bitch to decide on equipment.

Hey Steve, other than staying off of it, how do I expedite the healing of a rolled ankle?

I got my YTs from Remy for $89+shipping. My Red top from them too, but that was $70+ shipping.

Remy was 184 shipped for a yellow top D34 and Jegs was 183 for a D34...im probably going to go with jegs, no restocking fee and they carry optima's 3 year free replacement warranty. I might get a D34/78 so i have 4 terminals and hook the charging stuff on the GM terminals and the power stuff on the SAE terminals.

Hey Steve, other than staying off of it, how do I expedite the healing of a rolled ankle?

Did you get any xrays done?

Which way did you roll it and how severe? I'm going to guess the outside of your foot rolled over and hit the ground while your knee extended over past your toes (soccer?). Is it swollen? Did you ice it immediately?

Even your basic rolled ankle injury should be taken seriously. I rolled mine 12 years ago during baseball and ... being a dumbass athlete I thought I was invincible. I can still feel it a little bit today.

Anyway, "once a sprain, always a sprain" doesn't cut it. You're right - stay off of it (but don't let it get too stiff on you). Put the foot up, it should make it feel somewhat better for a while. Ice it for a couple days. Gibney strapping also works if it's a first or second degree sprain (doubt it's a third degree, you'd know if it was :P )

Hmm. I think I rolled it the way you said once, second time I had my heel on the ground with my toes in the air and my leg pulled back (like an obtuse angle). Side to side movement has no pain so the first roll probably didn't do anything, but moving my foot up and down hurts. Didn't ice it immediately because the friends wanted to go eating afterwards. Doesn't seem that severe, I guess I'll just stay off it for the next couple days and ice it. Thanks for the free consultation as always Capt. Canada :P

Was just cleanin out part of our implement shed, wow, found some old chit.  Part of a newspaper from '76, and a ton of other crap aswell.  The joys of living on a farm, you just acquire tons of junk that you don't need.

where mom used to live there's a rock that her father had etched his initals in and right after it says 1950...she's wanting us to get it out but the rock has to be friggin huge (only the tip is out of the dirt), i'll probably have a lot of digging on my hands in a few days though

"Spork"....no affence...but if ur going to do SPL...dont go with sealed...it distorts your sub/subs like alot easier...if u go with a slot or a aero port u will hit 5-10 db better and like u said ur effeicency is better and ur bass sounds alot nicer...and it dont hurt ur subs as bad....

OOO, the uneducated ramblings.

he's right, a sealed box will punch the hell out of the sub when you're not looking, can eventually damage subs if left alone for long enough

Just take it easy with it - not worth ruining it further.

Ice it for a couple days ... don't freeze it, put the ice on for a few minutes, take it off for a couple minutes, repeat.

Now he's trying to say that SQ setups don't use sealed boxes because they distort and sound like crap.

Kids

I really wanna know who sits around and comes up with these bogus theories and how they manage to get perpetuated.
