when did customize your vehicle go on the top?

I'm totally confused about the CYV stuff.

:+1: The site is a bit wacked, don't know where to go and don't spend the time to look.

Today I made a big decision....

I volunteered to spend a 6 month term in Resolute, Nunavut, Canada. 2nd most northern community in Canada, and one of the farthest north in the world. It is located about 400-500 miles from the magnetic North Pole.

Not sure when I leave though, find out more in a month. Probably not for at least a year.

Depending on how much I can make over the summer, next spring I might be looking at a replacement for the van....if I can find FJ40's in decent shape for $5k or so.

Shouldn't be a problem. Do you want all stock or modded.

Mostly stock, for what I'd be using it for, I'd need at the most 2" of lift just to accomodate slightly larger tires; lockers would be handy but not an absolute necessity. Biggest priority is getting something in good physical shape, no rust and paint in relatively good condx.

That's a good priority, are you turned off by 350 conversions?

I've heard the I-6's can go places the big V8's can't, just because of how torquey they are and where they like to operate in the power band.

For my purposes, a straight six will get me where I want to go.

Around me it seems the v8 conversions are cheaper which is why I asked.

so how's the trip going Sean?

Had a good day today at Mercury Marine, will be at Harley D tomorrow. It is always fun to be in the lab there, I feel like a little kid in a candy store. Lots of cool prototype stuff.

so I invited like 3 mall folk to the bowling thingy.

cooooooool.

I hope Matt is awake in time to drink  cereveza

:slayer:

Are they female and straight?

I mean, I have no problem with lesbians...but it sort of leaves me out of things, I guess.

You need a better imagination, with enough booze and a clever tongue you'd be surprised what you can get a pair of lesbians to do....

I have this really bad habit of making fun of people. Liquor makes it worse :)

LOL me too, I badger the chit out of them and make them feel little......like they are.

We may be small, but we're quick and agile :)

I don't mean physically small, emotional/mental bashing.

Jim, I'd prefer a straight six but you probably didn't need to hear me say that.
