pfft, my Decware Zen would load a direct short...2wpc FTW :D

But leave the speaker terminals unconnected, and watch sparks fly...

can all tube amps run a short or no?

pfft, my Decware Zen would load a direct short...2wpc FTW :D

But leave the speaker terminals unconnected, and watch sparks fly...

can all tube amps run a short or no?

Not all can, the Zen was bass-ackwards in that it liked lower impedances - most tube amps actually favor higher impedances like 8 or 16 ohms. The Zen would love 2 or 4 ohm loads, just the way the output transformers were wound.

There was a '70 Impy convertible, was tits.

Definitely took a picture of that.

Also a 'Stang Cobra-Jet convertible in a dark-greenish color, took a few of that...

And there was someone with a primer-gray Neon with green wheels, had a wall of Xplods...missed taking the photo of it :(

And someone with a few JL W0's, I think, and two Bibles resting up against the enclosure...welcome to Virginia...

Matt got a photo of an Aston Martin DB5 that was just chilling in the parking lot...not entered in the show or anything, but just sitting around in the Kmart parking lot :) Silver, right-hand drive, the 'Goldfinger' car to a T.
