Welcome to the IHoP

ohhh i had fun today,  db drag at a red light.  Guy beside me is in a ugly ass mustang (5.0 style, i hate them) he's more redneck than his car, and his bf in the passenger seat fits right in.  I hear his bass going boom boom, look over and you can tell he's a dick, windows down, radio bangin.  I have all my windows up, i quickly find three six mafia on the disc i had in and turned it up, just waiting for the bass to hit,  it was a long red light in the middle of town, but not residential so i couldn't care less about disturbing ppl at that point.  Bass line hits and i have the volume up about 1/4 of the way,  good low notes, i let them hit a few times, and then turn it back down to listen to his.

--nothing--

i didn't bother to look over, i was nice, i kept mine down for the rest of the time, light turns green and he guns the mustang off the line, and i see as he speeds off that he was like staring over the whole time.

What do you have again?

Hmmmmmmmm, throw some stuff out there, for the pair? Id say no more that $350. These will be run off orion 8004. Depending on if I switch out the tweeters too or not. I kinda like them.

Is that amp 80x4? I don't wanna look it up :P

I'll list manufacturers I've heard before and liked....

1. Boston (I currently have the Ralley Comps. and would change em for something "new" but they work so well for me I can't bring myself to do it :) )

2. Dynaudio. A little $$ for what you get but they do rock.

3. Diamond audio M6/D6 hex comps. Very "sweet" sounding.

4. DLS UR6 comps. These were a surprise to me, but they were quite nice.

5. Morel elates. Not as high volume (something you seem to want) but nice none the less.

6. Focal Utopia... mids don't like to be abused :(

Of the "name" brands that I would avoid are CDT and MB Quart.... just not that great sounding to me.

Acclaim is gone for good.

Tow truck driver rear ended some dude on the freeway. Totally effed up the expedition he hit.

The tow truck just got a bent bumper.

Luckily he has the push bumper on there, those things caused some major damage.

All this while towing the acclaim.
