I was looking at a $12k Ford Crew Cab F150 the other day and the salesman had the nerve to ask if I was trading the BMW in on it. I looked at him and said, "are you prepared to write me a big cash back check?" He looked dumbfounded and of course was completely unhelpful. When I sold cars, I treated everybody the same--you'd be surprised how many 16 yr olds actually influence car purchases. As well as how some wealthy people just don't look it.

My Uncle with the 06 M5 and SRT 10 never wears anything but blue jeans and casual clothes. He could buy anything he wants money wise pretty much and still gets dicked at dealerships. He likes to F-with them and drive up in his beater which is a Buick Roadmaster Wagon (of course with a hidden LT1). They give him hardly any respect and its hilarious. Dumb-azzes who make first impression decisions are idiots.

Got my fuel pump today.  Bought this one because it was supposedly the ONLY drop-in replacement pump available.  All parts stores and dealerships will only sell the pump and sending unit assembly in one.  MY cost was $300.  I only needed the damn pump itself.  Anyways, it took me about an hour to modify my sending unit for the "direct replacement pump."  I was not happy.  That is until I fired that bish up and beheld that beautiful sound.  Pump's a NOISY ho though.

Ouch, why the heck was it $300????

on the truck issue my uncle owns a 98 ram with the cummins and he's had like 0 real problems. Only thing is like squeaky clutch pedal, and had the actual clutch replaced sometime after 170k miles and said it didn't even need it then. It lives a hard life too, almost always towing their camper (airstream)

i'm wanting to say he stayed in the double digits(MPG) all the time while towing, but i wouldn't swear on it.
