I say make a new enclosure with a Solo X10" on either side with a nice little seat in the middle.

thats kinda where i was going with:

ahh okay.

you could spend some QT with 'glass & mdf making a wicked custom ext cab area...?

fab up your own side saddle seats melded into a central enclosure. cheap, if you dont count the labor You put into it.

Yes, 307. I was under the impression all SB GM motors are pretty much the same, however, my old man is telling me the Olds and Pontiac motors are totally different. And he has far more experience and knowledge than I.

Not to say he isn;t wrong though.

i might just yank it allout of the truck and wait till i cna find a work car and just go bananas in it..

not tottally different. small things. water jackets, head passages, a few bolt patterns (rare).

i'm just not for sure if i wanna sink all that effort in to it

besides..this week i'm on days, next week could be midnights and the week after that evenings..so tearing into something that labor intensive could be problematic..ya know?
