i test fitted a pair of old DD 6.5LT's I had sitting in the basement... they were just a hair too deep.

I wouldnt do pods in my car

Big feet+ $150 mids on the floor= wasted money

buuuuut then i cut through and mounted to the face of the door panel. no problems.

The pods in the trailblazer are gonna have to be more wide then deep is all...

but one mounting lip is slightly bent. IIRC. and they are prolly damned dusty by now.

Those DLS mids wouldnt fit in the teg, had to make some 3/4" baffles

they are beefy lil buggers. make nice noises too... hooked up to a sub-out put. :D
