300 bones for 2 meters, hell, that's cheap.

Google "Nordost Valhalla".

That was retarded... I will never have enough money to justify paying hat much for interconnects or speaker wire... and even if I did, I wouldn't....

Yeah, but there's the perfect set of interconnects for your $350,000 amplifiers (WAVAC monoblocks) and $25,000 speakers (Wilson WATT/Puppy's) :D

What sends me over the edge are thousand-dollar devices for "breaking in" your power cables. No chit. Go to Audiogon.com and see what they're selling...Barnum is alive and well, and selling audiophool products. Not only do you need to break in your cables (and cryogenically freeze them, which of course makes a difference when they return to room temp.) but now you need a special device to break the cables in!

Isn't capitalism great?

Another piece of oldschool. Cast Iron baby! Is that and original FoMoCo Autolite? I think it is.

No way. This thing here came in at 289 with cast iron everything.

It's an original FoMoCo 302 vintage 1969. The guy said it was a Boss 302 motor, but any moron could plainly see it's not. I only paid $15 for it. Going to make a nice table out of it though.

The intake and Autolite should make me some nice change on Ebay. I hope. I don't remember the least time I worked on an engine with a mechanical fuel pump and solid cam. Wait til you see the bearing, cam anc crank photos. Hell, even the conrods have the old Ford logo on them. Neat stuff.

Paid vacation is ok with me.

Paid vacation tomorrow is ok with me as well.

Vacation Sunday --> Wednesday away from home is definitely ok with me. But you and I both know that the parcels will come when I'm away - italways works out that way.

$15? Damn - wish I could find something like that around here for fifteen bucks. And like you say, it would make a great table.
