Welcome to the IHoP

So I am working on my HT boxes and I have come to the conclusion that I made a horrible error in design. My slot port is basically a giant unbraced pannel and I have no way of correcting it. It also is such a narrow slow that it will probably create a lot of noise. The area should be ok but it is insanely narrow.

Should I just build the boxes sealed instead? They are about 16 cubic feet if I remember correctly.

How far along err what?

Everything but glued together. Per the other post.

Im crabby.

I got more done in 2 hours today than I have in 2 weeks.

I really need to buy a vacuum by tomorrow though. Cannot decide. Need an upright with a hose attachment. Dyson?

Some other good news, canon sent me a EOS T4i to mess with. Going to fuck around and take some pictures. Sent an ok lens too.

Humping? Is that like wanging out?

Probably not too often. I just wanted something to dig deep into the low lows hommie.

I'm sure I will want to show it off at times.

Some updated pics of my sled. On snow this time!

Front showing that the bars aren't "that" high.

And the "gauge" package. Crappy light ruins it a bit as it is hard to see my HTC DNA running the Polaris GPS App, but it is in front of the bars. I have a waterproof case that will mount there and it has power which it needs badly when running as a GPS.

Because when you aren't you'll push WAY less air.

Pair of Mael's?

Yup maelstrom X. I couldn't remember the name for the life of me.

Should be just about 15 or 16 cubes for each 18".

I think the box was tuned was to about 13 hz.

Exodus Maelstroms or the old Adire versions?

If those are the Exodus.....Since you fucked up the boxes, I think you should sell me the drivers instead :) But seriously, you ever want to sell them, let me know.

Thanks.

I read that snow Mobile, AL. ha. Of course Canadians either call them SK i Doos or snow machines. In the midwest we pulled an old German trick and just combined them. snowmobile

Prime rib dinner tonight at work!

This is something we do for a select few at work.

Brown nose much? wink.png

Not at all, we do this for our partner supervisors on the night shifts. smile.png

Just playin bro. I'd buy you a kick ass meal just because good people are hard to come by.

Seal them. XBL2 is an amazing beast sealed. I have some Brahma MKIIs ported in my GN, and I ported a pair in my HT as well. But honestly, when I went sealed they sounded so much better. I went a bit small in the HT, and I suggest you do the same.

18s?

Re: 3.1

I know QTS indicates ported but EBP should be close to sealed. They have so much linear motor that they kick ass sealed. I know the Brahma MKII was sealed QTS with a borderline EBP, but I also had some Tumults that did better seald (IMO). Honestly, I prefer sealed, and even better IB (I have kicked around IB with my Brahmas), so perhaps my opinion is biased; but as a former Adire dealer with several XBL2 drivers to play with, and having played with several others, I can lend a bit of personal insight.

Next summer the rest of it comes apart.

Had pretty much everything out but the engine and drive shaft. Next time I think the carbs will swing out in about 10 minutes. That's the fucking best part of a race chassis. HAS to be serviceable quick otherwise you lose. For me it just means easier to dick around.

Getting the bars up that high means new cables to the throttle and oil pump. Got fucking air in the oil line to pulling the carbs. Gonna smoke for the next 100mi. Now I just have to decide how much I want to supplement in the tank as a minimum realizing she's getting new Pistons over the summer.

So, the tail light is currently running AC. :)

I figured fuck rewiring it. If it works on the maiden voyage fine. If it breaks it's warrantied. If it's not bright enough I can always jump a fresh wire to the brake. Tail I don't really care, it's more than enough as unless someone is following me no one will see it anyways.

Semi-maiden rip round the yard sort of tore it up. New beast is SUPER manuverable off trail. TTrenches like a mofo when you goose it though. Feathering a race clutch is not so easy.

Road crossings are going to be interesting with 10" carbides. a studded track, and a touchy clutch. Spun even on the clean part of the garage with me being GENTLE
