It is interesting how they put these cars together. The interior panels all seem to overlap one another, so you can't necessarily just take off one panel, you have to take off two or three. Sadistic bastards.

Be glad you're not working on a german car. I struggled for a few hours to put back the trim panels which hold the overhead upholstery.

I picked up a pair of BeyerDynamic dtx710 (didn't want to wait 2+ weeks to get a set off of the internet) they sound pretty great. Could use a headphone amp when listening to my phone, but sounds great on my computer.

Prime just means no zoom. So in context here the prime(non zoom) lenses let more light through the aperture than zoom lenses. This is a HUGE benefit in some cases. Indoors being a major factor.

Beleive me I am sure your experience using your camera more than makes up for any fancy vocabulary. I am not learning the words and why it all works. Before I just knew I could get much better pics with the DSLR than any other camera I have ever had. Now I am learning why and how to use the manual functions.

I probably won't use manual that much at first, but knowing how much you can do with just aperture, shutter speed, and ISO is valuable... and how they work in concert is pretty cool. Add in sensitivity of the sensor and you can do sooooo much.

a lot of people say good things about the Audio Technicas'. though a lot of people give good raves about the Beats as well

How much do you want to spend and what kind of sound profile do you want? In ear? Over ear? On ear?

The ATechs that are open back would not be my first guess for you. Their sound is really really thin in the bass department. The DJ looking set from ATech, the m60 I want to say, might be more your speed. Good bass and overall nice sounding.

Grados are awesome. Really cool headphones. I just couldn't deal with on ear headphones. Also they let everyone around you know what you are listening too. More so than other open back headphones.

In ear is a whooooooole different ball game. I have invested more money in in ear headphones than is reasonable. All around they are my favorite style for everyday use and being out and about. Also block noise mechanically by creating a great seal on your ear. That also gives them the best of the bass potential.

Personally, my over the ear headphones are AKG Quincy Jones. They are great, but badly need a headphone amp, they are hard as fuck to drive and if the volume goes up without enough power to push them, they loose a lot of their dynamic reproduction. I am so indecisive I still haven't purchased an amp but have had these for over a year. I use them at my computer, and if a recording is done poorly or the file is of low quality..... they are extremely cruel to the music. They have a way of amplifying poor quality.

While I must say I love both the AKG high end models and the little extra bass from the AKG QJones style, I took them home because I got a good deal and had gift cards for the place I found them. So I got these nice cans for almost nothing out of my checkbook.

Bah, that's 1/8th mile. Not that quick. I could spend $5K on a Mustang, F-body or something similar and do the same thing, reliably. I guarantee that Mitsu has quite a bit more than $5K in just parts and labor.

Older ones are OK, the E36 (what I'm working on) seems ok. It's just that the owner of this particular E36 decided to wrap every single panel in vinyl and nothing fits right.

Hmm, couldn't disagree more. BMW's are the easiest by far. Basically no manual or schematic necessary as theyusually just make sense. Japanese shit is a fuck show and American in between. Fucking GM is horseshit as the panels tend to explode if you put any force on them.

Hmm, couldn't disagree more. BMW's are the easiest by far. Basically no manual or schematic necessary as theyusually just make sense. Japanese shit is a fuck show and American in between. Fucking GM is horseshit as the panels tend to explode if you put any force on them.

While I haven't yet messed with a German, my Camry is by far the best engineered vehicle I have owned. Everything is just simple. No frills, nothing is built like a tank, but just functional. It's a great ho-hum daily driver. Their electrical systems could use a little help though.

4 inches of snow so far. It took me 5 minutes to install the studded wheel in the front of the bike and then I took it for a test. It's absolutely brilliant, brakes work, grip is great, if I hit a snow drift at speed it doesn't want to slide around like with a non-studded wheel.

All in all a very well spent $20 and 2 hours of work.

Now if I could find a knobby tire for the rear it would be great.
