I know a guy who has a Chinese factory that can reverse engineer everything. I can market it.

It will be like printing money.

Just 1911 frames and slides and some rifle receivers and we will be bajillionaires

A high-school buddy of mine built his 3-axis CNC for very cheap, probably around $1k. He uses it for MDF though. But with the right tooling it could probably do metal.

My guess is that the tolerance would need to be higher than one could make but what a cool project.
