So Sean, was it Double Oaked, and did you enjoy it? I hope you had it on the rocks.

I have turned several people on to whiskey because of the WRDO. My brown sugar was a vodka drinker, until I turned her on to it. Another very notable switch was a fella who didn't drink liquor, he is a home brewer and a wine drinker... He tried a sip to be nice, then asked for 3 more drinks... he now always has Double Oaked. I have flipped several other whiskey drinkers as well. It is so smooth and tasty. I am just interested in your opinion on my favorite whiskey.

Last week, I was informed my schedule would be changed. They reassigned me to the turbine deck to clean the contractor trailers & the bathroom, and start 12 hour shifts. The rest of the crew would stay on their current 10's. Turns out the contractor trailers are locked at the end of day shift and unlocked at the beginning of day shift, and they're only working 10's. So, basically 2 hours a day free money. OK, fine. Wednesday I am informed that the schedule has been changed again. Our entire crew is to have Friday off, start 12's on Saturday, and work straight through the 28th without a day off. Night shift is to start 12's on Friday, and work through the 28th. OK, fine.

The manager, my boss' boss, approaches me that same day to ask if I could switch to nights. I would be reassigned to work in Containment, and I would start Friday night, working 12's. Basically a 24 hour turnaround, clocking out at the end of day shift Thursday afternoon and clocking back in on Friday afternoon. Containment is not set to be breached until 12:00 PM Sunday afternoon. He informs me that I will be working in the Mechanical Auxiliary Building, or MAB, for Friday and Saturday nights, then move to Containment Sunday night. The MAB and Containment are both air conditioned, and it would allow me the chance to work in a Radiologically Controlled Area, or RCA, for the first time so I was definitely interested. The 24 hour turnaround worried me a bit, but I considered it a small issue. My father is a member of the refuel team so I know the current outage schedule and practically no one will be working Friday night, so I shouldn't be in anyone's way while learning to log in to the RCA, and I can learn the floor plan and the general layout of the MAB.

Because of these reasons, I accepted the reassignment. Friday night comes, and I was able to get a few hours of sleep before shift. During the prejob brief, I am informed that the schedule has been changed yet again. I am no longer working in the MAB, I am working on the turbine deck with the guy that already is assigned to the turbine deck. Remember, the contractor trailers are locked because the contractors do not have a night crew. So, instead of learning the ins and outs of the MAB and working in the RCA, I am sitting on my ass, literally doing nothing. Hell they could have even given me the day off so I could have had a 48 hour turnaround instead a 24 hour turnaround. So, after about six hours of doing close to nothing, I'm starting to nod off. A lot. Talked to my supervisor, explained the situation, clocked out and drove back home. Driving in before shift later today to talk with the manager.

Had a car audio enthusiast nightmare come true last night. Someone broke the window on my truck and stole my head unit. Thankfully they didn't take the c701 the processor, amps, subs etc. I think they got spooked before they had enough time.

fooook

a week or so ago, i found the weather seal around my driver side rear window had been bent back just above the door handle. didn't manage to break in.

That's gonna piss him off.

You'd have to jump

You're taller then me, but not by that much. You have me by a few inches in height, but I have you by a few inches in...
