Lance Armstrong has dropped his fight against the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency — saying he’s “finished with this nonsense” — which means he’ll be stripped of his seven Tour de France titles.

He also will lose the bronze medal he won at the 2000 Olympics and all other titles, awards, and money he won from August 1998 forward.

“There comes a point in every man’s life when he has to say, ‘Enough is enough,’” Armstrong said. “For me, that time is now.”

The 40-year-old maintains his innocence, saying the USADA’s case against him was “an unconstitutional witch hunt” and saying its handling of his case was “one-sided and unfair.”

I will get some instant dashi for sure. Then I can use it as an alternative to ramen noodles. I love udon.

They have the best mouth feel. I like cold soba too but I'm less confident.

I'm super excited to go. I have been going to shuang hur and all the other places in S mpls my whole life. In highschool my best friends mom would have a dream and we would drive her to the markets so she could sell her vegis from her garden. I would be the white laborer carrying the bags of produce from store to store letting her haggle then she would take her money and go to the casino.

:-)

Udon noodles has doctored Dashi usually. In that case I'd pick up some dark (normal) soy sauce and light. Add a bottle of Mirin as well.

FYI, when in doubt grab Kikkoman as even though it is made here it is pretty authentic and once you see all the choices you'll shit and be confused. I've made some horrible wrong guesses :P

According to a report in the Sydney Morning Herald, the new CEO of Mitsubishi Australia isn't mincing words, saying "the product is too old...the prices are too high."

Oshikiri took over the Australian branch of the Japanese automaker just ten weeks ago, and says the brand needs to be updating its product portfolio more quickly.

"I don't know why people by a Mitsubishi...What is the benefit?...I have to find out."

That's not a good sign...

Mittsubishis are absolute shit. I hate seeing one of those pigs pull up in front of the shop. You know you are dealing with antiquated technology, terrible mechanical engineering, and nonsensical diagnostic strategy. It is like they design the cars to last for 40K miles then completely fall apart.

DSM...see crank walk, walk crank walk

What you talking about Willis?

I usually buy the udon that is just a bag of noodles. No flavor packets... I'll use home made beef broth or chicken broth or buy "clear" broth. Good bulk dashi will be good to have on hand.

Mirin?

Off to pour in some more work on the botched bimmer.

I swear, the devil is always in the details. Look at the car from a distance, it looks good. Get close and you suddenly see how bad it actually is :(

Apart from the air-ride and the paint job nothing seems to be done right.

You know I lived half my childhood in a Chinese house right? Even had an authentic Americanized restaurant.

:-D

I knew how to say hello and thanks in Chinese before rush hour made it cool. Also rice and mint.

Thanks all I needed.

Hell I'm fat and had burger king today.

I literally lol'd

It's so sadly true. I spend 8 hours on the phone and 2 trying to change my wifes oil. Jiffy lube way over TQed it and I nearly stripped the bolt. I'm going to kill them tomorrow AM.

When I get busy... I eat like shit, unless I boxed meals for the next day.

Last night I had an italian sammich. Sean I made my buddy hang his head out the window of the car it was so rank. I have to give those up. Makes me sad.

Protein shakes never mess with my guts. I'm lucky. I need your miso soup recipie and more importantly to know where you buy the products. I would have it every day for breakfast with some firm tofu for sure. Maybe some noodles too now that I am back in the gym.

X2 on the miso soup

Edit: I was slow... no source for ingredients on this side of the Earth :|

Shocks don't hold weight, they simply control the suspension. You need a higher rate spring and a different shock.

I can't find shit, I've been looking for a spring with a higher rate but can't find any.

What Should/Would I do?

There are tons. This is for the Stang?

HE's going to have to go with custom springs or making something work. There are thousands of high rate springs for the Mustangs, but all are in the interest of racing or looiks and will lower the car and limit travel.

I just slapped oval track racing springs in the galaxy on adjustable perches. Had to grab the perches from a Wissota modified store, but they were cheap and easy. Got the ride height nailed and had them welded up. Rode stiff, lol

Every time I read Galaxy, I think about this thing:

Mirin?

Dashi is a base not a complete "sauce"

For Udon I normally use:

About 2 quarts Dashi

~2 tsp of salt (to taste, but that's about right)

3 Tbsp of dark soy

3 Tbsp of light (or Mushroom soy as I fucking love it)

2 Tbsp of sugar

2 Tbsp of Mirin

Mirin is definitely required for any Japanese cooking and is one of the primary flavors in Cold Soba dipping sauce which is Dashi, Mirin, and more bonito flakes with a teeny bit of sugar and soy.

Well I am now 2/3 the way to medically being out. Should be done by December.

J

Figure out what your doing after?

Right now I have been writing concert reviews and taking photographs lately. I think I would love to pursue something with either of those.

J

Sounds pretty fun actually.

Oh, Mirin is just a sweet wine that add's glaze, sweetness, mouthfeel, and is absolutely yummy in things. And even though it's wine it'll just be sold at the grocery store. Really not sure why it isn't regulated since it's stronger than beer :P
