Should see the Xcon kill the gauges in my boat. RPM's fluctuate from 600-1400 and I don't think it's actually happening. Probably clipping pretty decent as well, but at that level in the drivers seat the distortion isn't audible so perhaps it was just sucking dry my battery. Will retry with all three on, but only had a couple minutes before the kiddies came down to the boat. Could just be the vibration as well. Shit moves pretty good. I'm sure it'd move a lot more if I were actually listening to bass music. Closest thing it's seen is Jamiroquai.

I'll come over with some hot jams some day.

Ok... time for an hour nap then off to Costco, HD, post office and some place else I'm forgetting. It's raining today I'm sure so that will make sanding and maybe staining fun.

The more I restore this desk the more I want to keep some of the imperfections. Like the board where the architect who owned it wore away from tapping his foot. Maybe add a brass rail over it to protect it.

I'm going to use a light stain and apply it to a high grit sanding job try and make the grain pop a bit. The top of the desk is a weird material. Something so pens and pencils marked better. If I can take it off I might use that bar, pour on covering. Super thick protective coat. Not sure yet what it will look like yet.

I have 2 round oak tables I might refinish too. They are dining room tables, and I will pit them on Craig's list, bu t if I finish them up nice I might get a few extra bucks and it's great practice. If the table tops are all solid... I may tear it down amid keep it as wood stock for projects.

What would it even matter if someone was walking there dog at 8PM 10PM or 2AM?

Incites the entire neighborhood of dogs to start barking, either simultaneously or through a chain reaction. 8PM? Sure. 10PM? Asshole. 2AM? Dead asshole.

Rest of the neighborhood should get their dogs under control. Isn't the walking owners fault the rest are spazzes. If I had a dog (and no kids, I'd definitely walk him well after 10pm). Your disdain should be at the other idiots who can't keep their dogs under control, not the guy who is actually being a nice owner and walking his. Perhaps if the others actually walked theirs they wouldn't be all pent up.

Most of the disdain is at the owner primarily because he chooses to walk his dog not on the street, far enough away that most of the neighborhood dogs won't be alarmed, but across people's lawns so that it can shit and piss on everything without picking it up. We've dealt with his sorry ass before. Doing it at 10:30 PM? You're just asking for that kneecapping.

I am still on his side except for of course the not picking up. Dead at 9 or not, it isn't his fault the rest of the town has poorly trained dogs.

Reminds me of what one of our neighboring families wife said. She was telling Kari & I that we need to start Aidan in preschool at age 3 since the teachers in Kindergarten prefer the students whom have a couple years of schooling already and can cope. Of course I was watching her 5 year old behave like a fucking pissed 2 year old at the time and translated what she was saying as, "I suck at parenting so bad that I need someone else to do it for me so my kid doesn't get kicked out of school. You suck too since you live near me so you should do the same."

Fuck you bitch.

It's also the location. This town is completely dead by 9PM, so anyone out for a stroll is automatically suspicious, especially one coming on to private property with a large dog. Other towns/neighborhoods might be different.

Seriously? You live in god damn Texas, what moron walks before 9pm in the summer?

And no offense Peng, but I seriously don't get it. I also couldn't live in a town that was dead at 9pm. Hell my neighborhood has people running all around it until way later and it's a private neighborhood. Not quite gated, but might as well be.

Unless yard is the boulevard which is publicly usable. If he's trespassing that is flat out stupid.

He chooses to walk his dog on people's property, 10 yards or less from the fence line. Even the most well trained dogs are gonna bark at that distance. Get back on the public roadway and stop alarming the dogs.

Before lunch and after six pm are perfect times to walk the pooch, even in the summer.
