It needs to be a dark color, something like a good maroon. :)

The Scion FR-S looks pretty sweet.

NONONONONO, Subaru. Yoda didn't do shit other than front money. Subaru did all the work.

I thought the 86, brz, and the fr-s were all pretty much the same, and designed by both Subaru and Toyota. Guess I was mistaken.

They are the same, Yoda just fronted the money then tweaked a few appearance things for their model.

That is cool. Subaru makes its twin the BRZ right?

Yep, fraternal of course.

They look identical to me. The STI version is supposed to have an extra 100 horses.

300 horses at ~2800 lbs sounds very nice.

Its a gun. A 1911 will run flawlessly if kept in the original form and not with nutso tight tolerances, you start straying from that and you will have issues. A XD, Glock, HK, insert quality firearm will not have problems if kept maintained and quality ammo fired through it. Sure, everything has problems, but most people never put more than say 1000 rounds through one.

Also, if you are new to pistols, no way in the world would I spend 1k+ on one. Buy something cheap and reliable, like a used Gen2 Glock, and spend the rest on ammo and training, not just going bang down at the range or into a dirt pile, something that'll teach you and show you what needs done. THEN after you have a foundation of knowledge, minimum of 1k rounds, go about selling, buying, and getting items modified.

I am not new to pistols, but new to owning one. I have several rifles so i understand firearm maintenance. My university has a pistol club and for two years I've shot for 3-4 hours a week. Easily 150 rounds a week for about 60 weeks. I'm looking for a large caliber target pistol. Like everything else, i like things that are a little unique. I was interested in the USP Tact, and when i held it at the store it just felt like it fit me.

I essentially got the answer i was looking for. Just wanted to make sure there was nothing to worry about or anything special regarding strange maintenance that I didn't find online.

Also the issue is I've always, always wanted the Tact. Just never felt like throwing the cash down. So i feel like if i don't buy it now, i just will later. One of those inevitable things you know?

Thanks for the responses guys smile.png

Have you tried some STI's out? They're pretty sweet, also.

It's going to be hard for me to sit still for that long.

Road rash fucking stings. Seems like the fall was much tougher than I first thought. Slight swelling of the whole lower leg, a couple of bruises here and there.

Actually, the injection and all computers/wiring/programming is Toyota. Supposedly the trans and diff are joint.
