I think I might have found an old school XXX for sale on ebay.

They pop up on a UK forum from time to time, most of them in need of a recone. Too bad I don't want to spend my play cash on speakers.

And it's super simple to tell if it's an old XXX or MX. Motor pic and it's settled.

So I 'm going with some undergrads tonight to help them tune on their turbo Miata Grassroots car.

Unfortunately for them their VP with the NIStune software is MIA and they need to get the car running better pronto. They are running about 10 on their AF and suffer severe bogging and flooding when letting off the throttle. They are going to try to do some tuning without the computer by changing boost pressure and stuff. Any tips that I should give them? From what I know it seems like they are just rich overall and are not backing down the full enough on decel. So to me it sounds like something that they will need to tune the ECU for, but if they are willing to try whatever it takes and I get to see the possible carnage then I'm game , but I figured I would help as much as possible.
