I read that the Savages were fairly customizable, and didn't require a gunsmith for a lot of the work, but I didn't know what exactly wasn't sold verse the rem 700, so I didn't jump the gun and buy one today.

For the savages, I'd be looking at the 10p, and axis? I need to familiarize myself with their line more.

Bean bag, don't know why I didn't think of that. I also have rollup mats for camping, so that shit should be good.

Shot guns are a little weird. I love them and I don't all at the same time.

A 12 gauge shell with some #4 or something will put a big red hole in someone from across the living room and won't go through walls so easily. Nothing makes a guy piss themselves like a slide on a pump action.

They are so versatile with all the types of rounds..... And they catch birds and bunnies Damn good. Awesome snake charmer too.

Good for.taking off padlocks or opening your deadbolt if you forgot your key.

In a firefight unless I had that AA-12 or the other guy had a .22 I would MUCH rather have a battle rifle or at least an SMG.

Shooting bags are great, you can use them on the butt or the front. Whatever you need.

I would get a one of the 10 series if I looked at savage. Check out their website and watch their little video propaganda. The accustock thing is a bit cheesy but the trigger and the barrel nut idea are tits. And the barrel nut thing makes it cheeper to manufacture. Both cheeper and more user friendly than the classic style!

I'm thinking of going with savage myself or a complete custom set up. Sako/Tikka are good. Accuracy International is commonly regarded as the uber brand. They just cost your first born child.

They make.a 110 in .338 LM that callllllllls to me. Stupid to buy for where I live and the cost to shoot........

It may just be an itch I have to scratch though.

I'd go with the 700, if for no other reason than parts availability and ubiquity. Everybody sells 'em, everybody can 'smith them, everybody sells replacement parts for them.

The Savage will have a little better accuracy out of the box, but more parts are available for the R700.

Sean I was having a discussion with a friend about seafood here.... Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't coastal ship in fresh packed on ice fish/seafood?

Was positive they did, however my friend said that a guy he knew who worked for the dtelivery service that they used for some of the restaurants claimed it all to be frozen.

They'll ship whatever you order. Most restaurants don't order fresh. Generally speaking fresh fish isn't always the best choice anyways. I am all for sustainable fishing which regularly means freezing. That of course is just fine as long as it's done right. The Bristol Bay crab legs are the exact example of this. Processed on the boat, cooked on the boat, frozen on the boat, never thawed and re-frozen. If that is done to fish as well it is regularly a better product than what is served as "fresh".

Those are good guns, they belt fed or magazine correct?

Kind of cool in that even though it only shoots the .223 it can put a lot in the air.

Heavier than a light ass m4 kit but a lot more whoop ass if you have a box of ammo attached.

M2 is a whole other animal.

Its a fun weapon. Nice to have the magazine ability to instead of just belt fed. Not so much fun to carry or repair though.

Programs like that don't instill much confidence in me. Especially when the exercises are constantly changing, ie: "Have to shock the muscles." Complete bullshit. I also flipped their nutrition section, and found numerous bullshit tips, such as: "you need eat a meal every few hours to stoke the metabolic fire."

Why not just do a split routine, and learn how to keep your nutrition in order for your goals?

If I wanted to cut a 10" pvc pipe to a perfectly square end and have access to a table saw, skil saw, or radial arm saw how would you jig it so that I can cut it straight?

It is actually rather normal to have flash frozen fish as sashimi. It kills the parasites which are the biggest concern wtih raw fish.

As for mussels & oysters I am not so interested in those being frozen. I see frozen mussels at the grocery store all the time but seriously doubt their edibility

Set up the miter gauge, or cross cut sled, fence on the right side with a stop so you can set length, but the tube isn't contacting the fence while it is cutting and cut, rotate, cut, rotate, cut and done.
