I wanted to see him put his hot dog up there. He created it, show some balls. *pun intended

Figured you'd like that.

I might throw up some other goodies, such as:

Dayton RS180's

Dayton RS28a

Seas Excel W18

Seas CA18RNX

Alpine XT19 variant

Have some more, just having a brainfart. Open to getting rid of anything.

iirc you have a mach 5 ixl?

i regret not getting one back in the day, went with an cheaper sub from Ascendant audio.

edit: not that i'm interested in buying it, just dont have a use for it.. i just remember random shit haha

I have the prototype and initial IXL 12. All others were built based on the one I have. No further changes, but there were none before it either.

wow, very cool. I doubt i'll ever part with my mj 18.

seems mach 5 has some new drivers in the works as well.

this guy looks like a beast HT sub

I remember when they left the forum. Seemed like a strange decision back then.

both the 18 and 21 are priced pretty high but the ixl 15 and 18 are pretty close to what they use to be back when they were sold in the ssa store.

Just had an odd combination of food. Boudin and a Korean ramen with an added egg, garlic and my Korean roomate's own Kimchi. I thought I was hungry but I only made it through half the ramen and now im stuffed. It sucks because it damn good.

I just increased Chris's warning level for bumping old threads without adding any useful information to them. I have no problems with bumping old threads if you add to the subject, but his nonsensical bumps piss me off.

Apparently Mark has nothing to do with Mach5 any more.

Interesting news. I poured a ton of time and energy into helping him grow Mach5, we made nothing on the product and I mean ZERO. He was a good guy, but as soon as he thought it was a good idea to team up with Sound Digital (who have a hard on for Stetsom), then tells me Mach5 is getting out of the industry and to take down the section. Only to see a couple months later, there is a section up on CrapCo..... now he is done with it? After Stereo Integrity and Mach5 pulled that, I am no longer helping another brand because there is ZERO loyalty or gratitude in this stupid bullshit dance.

I need an approximately 10" tube that is nearly ready for paint....or a better idea. I'd like to upgrade my boat tower speakers to something with more balls, but that requires an enclosure. Coating a sonotube in fiberglass to make it weather proof and then sanding it smooth enough to paint sounds to me like a major failure. Depending on the diameter I am going to stuff an 8" or 10" Faital Pro mid in it, unless I find something else weather treated and better.

The four little bullets currently house JL 6.5's which don't have enough balls.

This would allow me an "excuse" to put the Pio 880 in the boat tongue.png

I would look into 10" round stainless steam table pans.

Good looking boat btw.

My dads Searay is one of the two you mentioned. The 27' I believe, but not sure. I will get pics as he is going to let me use it once as long as I do the necessary stuff to get it lake/road worthy. He said we can talk price afterwards, IF I decide I want it.

Cool, think I'm getting there. Now I need to pick a horn body for projecting 50-70' back.

Sorry to hear that you guys got the short end of the stick there. Unfortunately people have become increasingly ungrateful for people giving them some help or a fair shot. I know I have been guilty of that before myself.

It's ok. Mark warned me. It was my morals and good nature that has continued to get in the way of our business growth.

Compromise your morals for money and see if you can look your kid in the eye or yourself in the mirror. At the end of the day, yes it is a business and must be ran as such, but you cannot violate your own ethics for profit.

I don't compromise, that is why I was saying it has held us back in growth, but I can fine tune and refocus them on fewer more select things and be less forgiving and helpful to others. ;)

Funny I bought the Ridgid version of that a couple weeks ago. Still trying to decide if I keep it. The lifetime warranty on batteries is worth something since that is what always goes...
