sad.png Our Ferdinand had a seizure just 48 hours later. He is acting ok now, but scared me bad.

Is your dog part of that family?

Which family? He is the little silver schanuzer that lives with me. I said 'our', because he has kind of been the SSA Mascot since the beginning.

Glad he is doing better and maybe a ride in a 911 will do him even better.

Speaking of that, I am going to do a balls to the walls fat loss program based primarily on increasing my lung and heart capacity. Weight lifting will be done extremely intense and fast sets at the risk of loosing a few pounds of total weight moved.

I'm starting to get strong again and I know the numbers will go up so it is a good time to start focusing on getting into the best shape of my life.

What's your diet primarily consist of?

Cooler in my Malibu won't keep ice frozen when its below freezing. Absolutely NO insulation.

That being said, I'd like to address it. Regrettably I cannot remove it due to the design of the boat so I "get" to bulid the cooler in situ. Plan is to use some Polyiso sheeting from Home Depot and cover in Fiberglass or Epoxy resin.

So being I can't really paint it, won't be sanding it, and cosmetically I'd like it to look reasonable does anyone have any great ideas?

Ideas so far:

-Pre-cut the foam, paint black. Hope that resin alone is enough strength

-Foam, Resin, Matt, Resin, Bedliner/paint, Resin (I really don't want to try and spray it in the boat as I know myself ;) )

-Build a 2 piece plywood covering for the foam. Would have to resin the bottom again once installed since it would need to go in in 2 pieces, but this could be painted black and sealed before installation.

All of them suck. Best would be to have some gelcoat topcoat that I could just spread on it when I'm done that self levels and still sticks to the sides. ROFL.

Do you have a picture of the cooler area.

After you apply the insulation / foam, I would think resin and mat would do the trick. Are you not able to sand it, or just don't want to deal with the dust everywhere? An electric orbital sander would work well, and aren't costly.

Resin mixed with a thickening agent like talc or cabosil pretty much self levels. Haven't used any gelcoat products so no comment there.

I would like to make 2 side notes.

1) Shipping through FedEx anywhere outside of the US (even Canada) is a ROYAL PITA

2) Shipping 2 boxes totaling 23 lbs (11 and change each) should not cost over 100 dollars.

I did an L-sit chin-up today. I couldn't even lift my legs to the ninety degree position a few weeks ago. ^_^
