More seriously, I can't say. Normally I can't even say where I am going to, but they aren't eliminating that. :)

Generically I can give you a hint though. The Government always has particularly items it is focusing development on. These change rapidly based on the global problem or flavor of the month or quarter. When it comes to things in the realm of the AF it usually has to do with things where fluid dynamics and mechanical structures combine. Having the right tools and methods to take the computational into experimental and verify & expound on your toolset is critical to moving any of these processes forward. Overally simplified and in very general terms, but I would guess in 5-10 years there will be a modern marvels or something on tv about it.

Welcome to my daily grind. Basically my job is to fly around to companies who are pushing the edges of technology and help them take it one step further.

Primarily in the Automotive, Aerospace, MEMS, Biological, Medical, & Data Storage industries. MEMS encompasses a ton though and is a rather fun realm to play in.

All day long I work with VERY experienced engineers who make things in FE and then I get to show them how their modeling sucks once we take a measurement. Always makes me laugh when I see optimized by FEA on a product to only realize that the great majority of these may have been better optimized by hand. In particular anything with any sort of unusual boundary conditions.

I have a feeling its something with fighters since it's a major fighter base.. or something iwth the c-130's

You didn't read my hint very well, that'd be boring in comparison although both were a topic of conversation today but that was at a University :)

Nope, amusingly the conversation today linked those two to your guess. You missed the part that gives nothing away, but tells you exactly what it is. Made it bigger for you. One other detail. These focuses would not be something that is shared with the public, but are also not hard to predict what will come next based on the world around us.

Curious, does "befriending" someone on the board buy you something?

I ask because another forum I play on a bit someone just friended me. Needless to say this was shortly after I sort of stomped on his "factual" opinion. Curious if he turned a leaf or was trying to glean something. It came with no PM other than the "XX" has added you as a friend.

Notice I used the word label ;) People you know where there heart is and your relationship don't require a label.

And the existence of those people is the only reason I am at all active in the OT here after the first Kevin debacle about his amps.

That is absolutely the LAST thing I would dream about or desire to ingest.

If I want bacon, I will eat bacon. It is perfect and can not be enhanced in any way and that abomination of a milk shake is an injustice the the pigs who gave their lives so we could enjoy bacon.

I once added fresh cooked bacon and maple syrup over Bluebell vanilla ice cream. It was the absolute best.

I could see that.. but honestly I'm not a HUGE fan of bacon.. I don't know why it's become so "popular" these days.

Funny thing is I couldn't see that and I can pretty much drink bacon juice.

What is bacon juice you ask? its the non-fat pc way of saying the liquid fat from the yummy smoked pig stomach flesh rendered at a low enough heat to liquefy it without burning.

I usually leave the bacon grease over from when I cook bacon, pour it in water so it solidifies into a tasty pork puck and use it to flavor other stuff.

Holy heart attack.
