If you ever get up this way let me know. All SSA members will get the behind the scenes tour.

The road to October this year is going to be a very long one, that is for sure.

Most of the women I know don't know shit about discipline at all. My GF, for example, coddles all of her animals when they're babies, then when they're old and still misbehave, she gets pissed off because they don't listen to her. Meanwhile, I try to train them when they're young and she gets on my case for being "mean." Her entire family is like that, half the animals end up given away or put down (because they bit someone). Most of the young mothers I know let their children do whatever the fuck they want and some of the ones who now have teenagers now are just completely lost. One of the mothers I speak of had her kid over at my place and he poked the dust cap in on my speaker, so I slapped his hand and yelled "no" at him. His mother got all pissed off because I shouldn't be punishing him because he "doesn't know any better" and I "could have broken his hand" and I "probably scarred him for life." Of course he doesn't know better, you haven't taught him shit, lady! The kid was like 5 or 6 at the time, too. We're not talking a 1-year-old here.

It's no wonder our world is so fucked up.

Not so sure you want to have kids with that one...not that I should be theone pointing that out, but seriously.

Haha, well, I haven't yet, but we've been together for 9 years in March, so I might have to pretty soon :P

I saw a Delorean on the way to work the other day, started cracking up thinking of the movie

What it looks like from the road.

The flakes are bigger in Aspen.

I have nothing against automatics, BUT I fucking hate the fact most ppl that drive them don't know how to down shift. I have a mile or so of gradual hill between my house and the interstate. Ppl will ride the brakes all the way down the fucking hill. Ride them brakes buddy.

I would do the same thing. Brakes are far cheaper than transmission repairs.

All the vehicles I own are manuals so I will agree to dis-agree.

Brakes are almost a get to in comparison to the have to in replacing a clutch. WAY not fun.

At this point I assume I am the only one in this debate that has driven over a mountain pass.

Driving down a hill in forth instead of fifth will NOT speed up the wear on a clutch.

On the other hand we have run-away ramps for ppl that ride their brakes for to many miles on downhill grades.

Advice for anyone driving over a mountian pass. The rule of thumb is drive down the hill at the speed you were capable of driving up.

Guys do yourselves a favor and don't let the power use ratings on tvs mislead you. That number is based on being used 5 hours per day in most cases. I don't know how your household is, but my tv is on way more than 5 hours per day.

I will probly only watch my new TV 5 hours a week. Not that it won't get used more, just not by me.

The Sony I will move to my room is only an LCD so should be perfect for a bedroom.

I would of bought a plasma but the way my livingroom is set up I think the better side viewing of the LED will be nice. Plus I think I will enjoy the greater contrast in light to dark the LED offers.

Oh, I totally agree with you on the manual side. Like I stated before, the discussion was brought up while we were speaking of automatics in which case I would not be shifting.

Plasma's don't like to work well at our altitude Jared, IIRC.

Agreed on the mountain driving too, I'd rather have a manual than an automatic, but all automatics now days have low gears, accomplishing the same thing

My comment was extending ryan's to those who shouldn't drive manuals anyways. Forcing a gear for speed control is huge. Not only on hills but ice as well
