Nice deal on a monster, I would have to knock down a wall to get enough room to watch it.

I am buying a 55-60 tv in the next week or so. This on looks like a good choice. They weren't out of stock online the other day when I was looking. I bet the free shipping had something to do with that.

You guys think the LED is worth the extra cake?

Plasma is my favorite. Of course, I do have 2 LED TV's.

EDIT: scratch that LCD... LED.... ya know.

LED is worth it for a few reasons:

  • Longevity
  • Power savings
  • Thinner chassis
  • Much better dynamic contrast control* (not all LED TVs take advantage of the technology in this regard like they should)
  • Brighter backlighting (not always a good thing, but usually is)

I've had the brass stuck against my neck before. Damn think looked like a crescent wrench when all was said and done.

Damn 5.56 rounds.

And eye pro has saved my ass on quite a few different occasions. If its day time and semi sun out I am in shades.

Fuckin Uppers. I don't want to drive that far!

But it's melting like hell now! So tired of this bipolar weather! We had windchills of negative 28 degrees last week and now it's almost forty today!

We ain't got shit. Had to drive to the Cable WI area to find snow yesterday. Was a bit soft as well.

Most of the women I know don't know shit about discipline at all. My GF, for example, coddles all of her animals when they're babies, then when they're old and still misbehave, she gets pissed off because they don't listen to her. Meanwhile, I try to train them when they're young and she gets on my case for being "mean." Her entire family is like that, half the animals end up given away or put down (because they bit someone). Most of the young mothers I know let their children do whatever the fuck they want and some of the ones who now have teenagers now are just completely lost. One of the mothers I speak of had her kid over at my place and he poked the dust cap in on my speaker, so I slapped his hand and yelled "no" at him. His mother got all pissed off because I shouldn't be punishing him because he "doesn't know any better" and I "could have broken his hand" and I "probably scarred him for life." Of course he doesn't know better, you haven't taught him shit, lady! The kid was like 5 or 6 at the time, too. We're not talking a 1-year-old here.

It's no wonder our world is so fucked up.

Not so sure you want to have kids with that one...not that I should be theone pointing that out, but seriously.

Hey Stefan, I will take the 3" bamboo's off your hands IF you give them a try and decide you don't like them. :peepwall:

http://www.tb-speaker.com/tbp.htm Oh so many choices!!!

Another driver to look at. http://www.usspeaker.com/faital%20pro-3fe20-1.htm

God, I still haven't had time to test mine :(

If Adrian hadn't quoted that I would have missed it. :P

I've decided to try a 3-way and keep using the current tweets I have, so now I'm looking at midrange drivers instead of wideband / fullrange drivers. I'm going to try new kicks a shot, leg room should be fine, just have to get some better aiming.

I found a pretty good deal on some bnib overpriced drivers that many would frown upon, but I've actually heard these drivers in the past and loved the sound. Of course 99% is install, but I'm going to try them out and if I'm not happy, I can sell them in a heartbeat.

sell the HAT crap and buy a real driver

I have nothing against automatics, BUT I fucking hate the fact most ppl that drive them don't know how to down shift. I have a mile or so of gradual hill between my house and the interstate. Ppl will ride the brakes all the way down the fucking hill. Ride them brakes buddy.

I would do the same thing. Brakes are far cheaper than transmission repairs.

All the vehicles I own are manuals so I will agree to dis-agree.

Brakes are almost a get to in comparison to the have to in replacing a clutch. WAY not fun.

Guys do yourselves a favor and don't let the power use ratings on tvs mislead you. That number is based on being used 5 hours per day in most cases. I don't know how your household is, but my tv is on way more than 5 hours per day.
