The wife is not picking up.... I have to walk into the store.

I am not carrying. There is no way I will survive a bridal dress shop.

Handgun rounds won't work. Need shotgun.

It's one of the best jobs in the world R2. A good friend here does that for a filtration/flow company.

Mythbuster and professional gun shooter maybe top it.

I do enjoy it. Nothing is the same. The red tape of university makes me beat my head against a wall though.

Can anyone explain to me the current hard-on for 4th order bandpass enclosures ? Everywhere I look, it's 4th order this, 4th order that ...

When you were last active, were people crazy about T-line enclosures or quarter wave? Same general principle for the most part.

No, I was last active in like 2006 ... The trendy enclosure back then was ported to 32 Hz using aeroports ...

So, basically, it's the one-size-fits-all, jump-on-the-bandwagon, using-any-other-type-of-[insert trendy brand or equipment type here]-makes-you-a-noob mentality that is always prevalent within the car audio community ? Got it ...

Who are the sheep following this time around ?

My day alone turned into taking the wife to lunch, going to try to collect rent, getting called back to get her as she forgot some things and now outside a bridal dress store waiting for her to pick up.

The things we do for a fuzzy wet hole. That I then eventually talk myself out of getting.

:D

Fuzzy?

Yeah we got married and she got one of them feminine ideas that she can just keep it trim. In return I grew a full beard 6 inches long. My face grows more she only has peach fuzz. I win.

Yeah, at the office on a Saturday.

I'm at the shop today. Had to supervise some undergrads.

What do you do?

I run one of the shops for the college. Basically I help facilitate all research, labs, and lab classes within the dept. Currently have ~12mil total in projects ongoing right now in the dept.

Ah KState? That's pretty cool.

Not that I manage 12mil, just work with a lot of projects. I build fixtures, fix machines, install machines, supervise grad and undergrad workers, do testing with servohydraulic machines (400,000lb is the biggest one), etc.

They pay me to build, then break stuff.

That's cool, Hydraulics in Tech school was my favorite part of learning about aircrafts.

90% of the systems are ran off of Hydraulics.

Well, lucky for you that neither of those are provinces; they're territories ;)
