I used to board all the time, skate and BMX in the summer. I got on a skateboard last summer for the first time in years and I can barely stay on the damn thing just to skate. It's sad.

I use to roller blade when I was young, hadn't done it in five years, went to a ice rink for my first time, and I was able to pick it up and skate around pretty damn well in thirty minutes.

And somehow I see some possible correlation going over if I ever tried skiing.

From what I hear it doesn't take long to pick up. It's a good time. Are there places to ski in AZ or would you have to travel a bit?
