Few years ago in "computer class" I reformatted one of the computers and installed ubuntu, setup apache webserver, and created a webuser registration app. That way all the kids in the class could actually deal with uploading files to a server, and actually be able to test out their server side scripts.

Class was a complete joke, any way, the IT had to come in and verify that the computer was safe to be on their network. He walked in, looked at the screen and said "so that's linux?"..."Okay" and that was it.

And then I did a MITM attack until the network crashed. :roflmao: High School days...

Ah, high school computer shenanigans. Playing first person shooters across the LAN in computer lab = good times.

Used to do that in high-school. And in the senior year we would skip some classes, get the network admin, find a free computer lab and play shooters. It was fun when the principal found us.

unreal tournament was my fav in HS. I loaded it up on the network so that anyone could log in and install it on their computer (because the tech kept formatting the computers trying to erase the game). I assumed he'd check the server as well so i had three copies of the install file; one just sitting in a folder buried among bullshit; one "hidden" by nothing more than the right click option, and one that was encrypted and extremely well disguised. He formatted almost every computer lab on a weekly basis and never managed to erase any of the three files on the server. He knew it was me doing it and even told me once "i can't figure out how you get 100+ copies of that game loaded within one day of me formatting all these computers"

That game was awesome. I pissed off everyone playing.

<-- Your mom's dong

Logged my fair share of time on that game!!

Got the floorboard / kick panel area fiberglassed for a base, should be dry in 45 minutes then I can start smoothing it out.

Has anyone else seen kickpanels/pods done with fabric coated in resin and body filler, but no fiberglass mat?

Yes, by idiots.

I am an idiot :). I did that on my kick panels for my first truck. however, my fabric was a super thick material that had a lot of random fibers. It took a hell of a lot of sanding but it was strong afterwards.

I didn't see yours either. Seen plenty fails that way tho

For me it's either a bajilion layers or nothing. It would be fun to take some pics of the left-overs after modding my kicks. 1/2" fiberglass at places for a pair of 3" fullranges

Halo is the bomb! At least in single player...I was never too much into playing LAN games.

'Twas fun 'butchering' a friend in Counter Strike, especially considering he played competitively.

I never had an xbox so I only played LANs at friends houses. My average life lasted 30 seconds or so. I was terrible

The landlady said, "You got the rent money yet?",

I said, "No, can't find no job"

Therefore I ain't got no money to pay the rent

She said "I don't believe you're tryin' to find no job"

Said "I seen you today you was standin' on a corner,

leaning up against a post"

I said "But I'm tired, I've been walkin' all day"

It did. UT 2004 was the best, went downhill after. Still more fun than newer FPS.

Using a 5$ mouse makes me ashamed to call myself a gamer.

Glad my computer burped sometime in 2005 so I stopped playing it. Was a bit fucked from the time perspective as all I could do was play that shit.

Haven't played both online for 1, 2 years, but I am sure there are still some servers around.
