From here.

I realize that, lol. And definitely I don't eat ice cream, but I am trying to remember what I was referring to.

Anyone happen to know the rates for a tow dolly or trailer from U-haul?

No, but I'd like to know why you want to know

Found a T-bird in K-zoo cheap that needs an engine. Only way to get it home is a tow obviously.

That is what I was wondering. :)

Why would I stop you.

If you area isn't water proof, before you order I can tell you how to extend the leads :)

I've given in, I'll buy one. Let me see if I can dig up some thermocouple stuff before I buy it to see what I need though.

His have a digital bus on the front end so you can't just arbitrarily replace them, which stinks because I need a new one as I trashed one.

MK, for you.

Pics of an ill fitting bike. Hopefully this will "fix" it:

If not, now that I've rebuilt the rear wheel, repacked the bearings, cleaned the frame (very quickly), cleaned the chain, adjusted the brakes and derailleurs, I'll throw it up for sale for $400 on CL. Pocket $150 and have a $50 Nitto stem for use later.

Bike as sits: $200 + old seat post and a saddle off a different bike. Have $10 worth of bar tape to put on it, but if I like it I'll get different bars so I am going to run nekkid for a while. I forgot to take dirty original pics, but oh well.

On the drops and they are too low

Simulating where the tops of the bars would be if the tri bar wasn't in the way

Riding on the hoods. Without a bar riser this or on the tops are where I know I will spend my time.

On the free tri-bars.

Bike also came with a luggage rack, a front bar bag, a set of kevlar folding tires, the original receipt and manual...and one really fucked wheel. :P

MK, don't take that as a good fit. Bike is too small, but I can and will fix it. I haven't even ridden it yet and only set it up on the trainer to run through the gears and fit the saddle position. I am not in love with it as I'd like to be further forward but it throws off my balance with the bars so low if I move it forward. I will spend more time refitting once I get the riser stem in and then show you a better fit.

Never ridden on a tri bar before, curious to see how that feels the next time I am bucking wind.

If I keep the bike, ie can make it fit, the frame will get cold set to accept 700c rims, then powder coated. I will up the tires from 32's to 37's and get two sets of rims including a set of cyclocross with off road tires. New crank, brifters, and updated components all the way across the board. Basically the goal would be to turn this into what a custom bike that I'll have made eventually will wear for components and then when I finally spring for that I'll either turn this into a fixed gear or back to stock and sell it.

Took me all of about 5 hours to run through it. Have some serious cleaning time if I keep it though as the previous owner duct taped all the holes in the frame shut. Good idea if you ride in the rain on a steel frame, but the glue that is 25 years old is nasty.

Purchased in November of 1984.

Those are spandex lined shorts. My bike to the bar shorts complete with ass pad, just look a "little" better when you are putting back beers.

I always enjoy a good scare.

Even if it involves a missing.

Those are evil.

Ok I am lost as hell.

It definatly does. I am in awe of your house.

Wasn't expecting you to have 'longer' hair or sideburns.

Then again I am used to military cuts.

I thought it would be implied since the end of the sentence contains a certain punctuation mark that is the same thing as the evil joke. . . the missing period. . .

Well played. Reading 'Army English' as I call it makes reading proper English a pain in the ass at times.

There is an arrow next to the name of the poster of the quote. How can one not love this cold and sweet thing...
