I don't think I will ever see the day Dad will buy a new Ford truck. GM's last for us and we don't have anywhere the problems that Sean has ever had.

I'm just giving you guff. I just "have" to harass everyone and be a Ford truck fanboy.

Blue ovals FTMFW and such.

I actually think the GM's look the best anyway and I will probably never as much as any of them ar capable of.

Someone talk me out of buying a prefab sealed box for my SA-12's just to have SOMETHING below 35hz. I can't take staring at the boxes and then going outside and having to play decaf songs with the sub at -7db.... :suicide-santa:

What are these songs you are referring to?

Decaf is the screen name of a guy who mixes music just for us bassheads, I have all his stuff :)

Does it sound good? How can I listen to this music?

Here is how to get his first ZIP file clicky

He's made 23 of them so far, they will definitely make the sub bass perform.

Quoted to check out later.

If you like rap and heavy bass lines, you will like decaf. He even removes most of, if not all the clipping present in each song he has.

A 75-year old lady from Georgia (the country, not the state) has perpetrated an impressive feat of international sabotage in what seems to have been an accident of extremely bad luck. While foraging for copper wire near her home in the village of Ksani, the unnamed septuagenarian managed to come across a critical fiber optic cable, one responsible for serving internet connectivity to "90 percent of private and corporate internet users in Armenia" and some in her own country as well. Her swift strike at the heart of said bit-transferring pipeline resulted in all those folks being thrown offline for a solid 12 hours, while the Georgian Railway Telecom worked to find and correct the fault. In spite of her relatively benign motivations, the lady now faces three years in prison for the damage she caused.

The question of what's next for Blockbuster has been partially answered, now that Dish Network has announced its $320 million bid was enough to win a bankruptcy court auction for the rental giant's remaining assets. After "certain adjustments" are made and the deal closes, it's expected to cost just $228 million in cash but what exactly Dish plans to do with the 1,700 stores and innumerable copies of Little Fockers is unclear.

Sell/rent the location and outprice net flicks giving dish owners a big discount.

Ok I figured you might have some good wrestling stories.

The best I ever did was place 3rd at states my senior year at 189lbs. Now if I would have wrestled at HWT I would have won states.

I am from MN so I would have had Iowa and MN champs who are world top wrestlers to contend with. I also had not so hot HS grades so I didn't compete, I ended up helping to coach for class credit.

I have a LOT of good stories. I would go to tournaments and whoop on the other schools heavyweights who would go just to get more matches. I dislocated 1 hip, a shoulder, and fractured a clavicle. The clavicle was a team mate who was sloppy and caused issues but had a big mouth. He also was a wrestler who hurt some of the smaller guys and had the don't-shower-before-a-match technique. He tried to put a shot on me and I put my full weight on the leg he grabbed thrusting my heal down. It had so much force that even though he lost grip it had all of my weight plus his plump body and he landed backwards onto his right shoulder blade. His clavicle took the whole force as his shoulder pulled up.

Matt your a badass beating on those guys!

Lots of good wrestlers from your area. One of which is the coach at PSU.

Something like this:

http://harrisburg.craigslist.org/msg/2237112881.html

or this

http://williamsport.craigslist.org/msg/2264105334.html

Would be a WAY better way to spend a $100+. Not sure what his is worth used, but those will pretty much always be worth what you pay for them. Take his, sell it, add the pickup money to something else and grab it.

*A little more research would be good as it has been more than 20 years since I went guitar shopping. I play an 82 Ibanez and a 56 Gibson. Both are worth more than I paid for them. :)

We talked it over and the boy is going to continue to use his and if he wants to further his playing we are going to look at the Ibanze and Gibson.

Thanks for your help and info Sean.

Good plan. Not worth putting anything into what he has now

Don't shy away from those Jacksons either. There is a reason that Randy Rhoads went from a Les Paul to them :) Another old favorite of mine would be if you could find an old BC Rich from when they were still handmade here. (pre-1981 or so maybe significantly later, but their "new" stuff is complete crap). Personally I'd run from Fenders but that is because they have the slowest, sloppiest necks on a guitar IMO. For what he wants to play it isn't what he wants.

One other note. A wood grain neck >>>> painted neck if you have ANY propensity to sweat. I get SLOPPY on stage, lol.
