Saw on the news somewhere in PA, that a retired guy converted his old Pick-up into a Radio Flyer cart.

I saw that too. Pretty neat.

A professor has uncovered evidence that U.S. researchers intentionally infected Guatemalan sex workers, prisoners and mental patients with STDs in the 1940s. Now U.S. officials are stumbling over themselves to apologize. Not good enough, says Guatemala.

It's pretty gruesome stuff. According to CNN, more than 1,600 people were infected with diseases ranging from syphilis to gonorrhea and chancres, then cured (maybe) with penicillin. Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius released a statement:

"Although these events occurred more than 64 years ago, we are outraged that such reprehensible research could have occurred under the guise of public health. We deeply regret that it happened, and we apologize to all the individuals who were affected by such abhorrent research practices."

Apparently the study was done under the auspices of John C. Cutler, the doctor who later ran the Tuskegee Experiments—a similarly dark chapter in medical history.

The Guatemalan president wants to try these crimes in international court, and Guatemalan human rights are demanding reparations for the affected families.

Wow. We were just like the Nazis.

My home pc has Windows XP on it and my new laptop came with Windows 7. Anyway to "legally" put 7 on my home pc? If not, any cheap alternatives to getting Win7? I can only use a Windows product if I want my home automation system to run.

Download from torrents. Fast and free. Then just burn the .iso on a DVD and after 30 min in installation you would have up and running, Win7.

Guess I found the culprit to my clutch problems...

Residue looking like modeling clay in the clutch master cylinder and the check valve looked ragged.

I want to get my son's face on my forearm so any time I'm missing him, I can just look down, but damn, how do you go about finding people talented enough to do that correctly?

I'm not a big tattoo fan, but I would NEVER get a face on my body. Being interested it art when I was younger, I know that the face is THE HARDEST thing to make look true. I have countless drawings of people that look great except for their is a white spot in the page where I never drew the face is because every time I tried it looked bad.

Anyone that can tattoo a portait, will advertise it.

In your case I recommend Googling "myspace tattoo indiana". You can look at hundreds of artists work without even leaving your house. You will want to look for someone that does realistic tattoos and has some portraits in their portfolio.

I know ppl say myspace is dead BUT musician's and tattoo artists still use it as FREE advrertising.

Secondly IF you see someone with a portrait that you think looks legit, THEN ask them where they got the work done.

The only other real way of finding someone is to travel from shop to shop looking at portfolio's until you find the right artist.

Got a new "media" computer today :D I bought it from a friend of mine. Its a Dell like my other one except for it is a full size computer so I have plenty of upgrade options. He also gave me Win7 for it as well. Video card has DVI out and a TV tuner already built in. The TV tuner isn't needed but its pretty cool.

Hopefully it will be plenty for me to upgrade as I see fit. First up is an audio card with digital out then maybe a new graphics card if needed.

Its all about time in. I started drawing faces 20 years ago.
