anything other than bleeding for non bone steaks is silly.

T-bone and porterhouse I like a more heat to be sent through the bone and conective tissue to enhance the flavor.

Anything else needs to looke like a ruby inside.

A guy that works at the gym I go to commented today that my arms look bigger and shoulders broader than when I started there 6 months ago. That was encouraging to hear. I mean yeah I'd sure hope I'm seeing results after the work I've put in, but it's nice to have it be noticed. In an ungay way.

I am going to get new tires today for the Yamaha Grizzly. I am going to buy the ITP XTR mudlite radials. They outta be sickly.

ITP_Mud_Lite_XTR_ATV_Tires_detail.jpg?1235103080

What size? I have those exact tires on my brute force 27x(9,11)x14. They are a very good mud/trail tire. I'm really hoping to go to a 26" Maxxis Bighorn though, because the brute is so tall, and then I can put a lowering kit on it

I am getting 25x8x12's front and 25x10x12's for the rear.

The stupid people at the atv shop I called and drove 70 miles to today didn't have them in stock. The stupid chick on the phone said they had em', but they did NOT. All they had when I got there was the regular mudlites.

SO I am going to order them of Ebay with the ITP SS108 rims for the same price as they wanted for them at the store. SWEET!!!!!

SS108Black.jpg

Other than now I will have to wait for them in the mail, BUT atleast they come pre-mounted.SWEET!

Pretty sure i have those exact rims for my Sportsman, but I don't have any tires to mount to it :(

I knows it sounds bass ackwards but I want to make my brute force lower and faster and my sportsman 400 a mud bike, but the bikes are actually the parents so I don't get to make the decisions...

NEM you still around?

Still here. Just been busy as hell with traveling and getting this remodel completed.

Things are stirring at work I'm nervous about my job, is your company still going to scrap the treatment plant? I know MHG or something like that is going to be doing one in South Ogden.

Ha. Just tried it, figured it be sweet as hell but wasn't.

Clarification. Nectar - one scoop 26gram protein. I assume that I just make it around 30g's by adding a quarter scoop or so.

Dextrose. 1.25tsp for 4g. 60g = 6.25tbsp which amusingly is almost what it was in weight.

ie, I weighed the contents. A heaping scoop of the Nectar was around 30g and 6 heaping tbsp of Dextrose around 60g. Didn't know if you meant by weight or by calculation of contents. Considering they were close I just rolled with it.

**assumed you meant by contents btw**

You did gud! Only looking for nutrient content (in grams) not actual product weight. Sounds like you were definately close enough for hand grenades and protein shakes.

:fing34:

Dextrose isn't much for sweentess. Doesn't add too much at all in flavor, fruictose is WAY higher. Dextrose should be nearly exact in nutrient as it is in mass. The only aditives to it are probably to stop clumping.

What nectar flavor did you get?

Fuzzy Navel. Not exactly my first choice, but the overwhelming favorite on the site. It wasn't unpleasant at all. I'll "never" be thirsty for it, but considering I pretty much drink carbonated water and coffee it wasn't a terrible addition. Didn't taste anywhere near as sweet as I expected, in particular when I added so much Dextrose. :)

NutriTOP

BTW did you try it after pedaling or just a little sampler to see if you can stomach it?

After a ride. Whether I could stomach or not doesn't matter if it is good for the body.

Actually closer to medium well, WAY overcooked. Barely any color left, ruined IMO.

The only horror is the fact that the way beef is ground here you shouldn't eat it that way. Definitely good eats when its ground in an appropriate manner.

To me its based on fat content. The less fat, the less you can cook the meat before its ruined. IE, Tenderloins should be cooked the least.

Of course, if we didn't grow our animals to have less fat WHICH IS FUCKING STUPID it would be easier to eat an overcooked steak. Not that I'd go beyond rare then anyways. If its hot in the middle, you effed up.

Made a Wagyu Strip last night :) 12oz, $38, and worth every penny.

All this meat talk makes me want carpaccio. I have never had steak tartare interestingly enough.

Even better point. My tenderloins are always rare to blue. :)

That's the spirit. You will probably notice a difference in recovery time in a week or so, and from there you may want to adjust based on what you feel.

I spent 4 grand on the Grizzly and another 1500 on the trailer last spring, So I had to look the other way when it came to the bald ass tires cause I didn't have any money left.

med_gallery_10399_408_623244.jpgmed_gallery_10399_408_213342.jpg

Everybody always asks "You ride the Grizzly, Right?" Nope, its my wifes, I ride the Honda.lol.

I like the low center of gravity and the clutchless maual shifting. I already have the ITP Mudlites on my Honda, But the Grizzlys tires are bald as fuk.

med_gallery_10399_408_202970.jpg

They are loaded with plugs, dry rotted and bald.

med_gallery_10399_408_34654.jpg

THey wanted $650 just for the tires, at the local shop, not even counting the tax and mounting cost. I can mailorder them on the new rims, Already mounted for $675-700. BUT I will have to wait for them to come, aahhhh.biggrin.gif

I really like the color of the truck but it needs some bigger tires in a badd way.

I wont be using my other truck for the time being so I am going to swap The BFG's on to the '94.

med_gallery_10399_408_532716.jpg

The '77 Ford, I will probably turn it into a truggy, since I can hardly give it away, but it runs like a beast and is a TANK to drive.

a shot of the tires, 33 x 12.5 x 16.5's.

med_gallery_10399_408_171173.jpg

I need to buy a 2.5" lift kit though, so it will probably be a month or two. smile.gif
