hey guys been awhile. i got my stuff from SDS installed in the doors, it worked wonders! only rattles left are from where the speakers flange touches the rear of the door panel... maybe some foam around the flange will work there..

Stopping rubbing is one of two possible uses for CCF. :)

Glad you are enjoying it!

i saved some scraps just in case :woot:

next up is fiberglassing the 3's in the A pillers. not sure if i want to glass them directly or makes pods... first i need to figure out if i would like the mids up higher (above the steering wheel and gauge cluster) to avoid reflections or make pods (puts the speaker as far away from me as possible).

i think if i go higher it will look really... really ugly! theres no depth behind the panels

i never tried putting them in the kicks though. i should try it just to rule it out i guess.

What does that attach to? Open manifolds like that always freak me out. No filtration at all just is wrong.

What car? Never hurts to try multiple locations although getting things on axis and at the right height helps.

I just got an email back from VMP. I'll be going with them for my programmer for sure.

On the stang?

On my expedition. I can datalog(with some of the software and a laptop I can read almost anything PCM, GEM and ODBII) and pull codes and understand missfire issues and learn about how the A/F mix is working(with the LC-1 WBO2). It should help get 1-2 more MPG also. They are giving away 3 "custom" tunes for free.

I will probably end up with a 2011+ gt though. The wife has given me the go, just need to wait untill I can find one gently loved. It will have the power it will have the style, and actually might be comfy. I've given up on quick sedans, and thogh I love the previous style M3 in looks and in platform, I can only see myself having problems with it, and not being able to fix them. With the Pony car if I don't like something... someone will make a part. I can make it pure muscle and grunt, or make it an autocross champ. Or go drifting!

Sean, Do you have any clue on where to get a panini press, and if any of them suck? I need it this week, and forgot I would need on for saturday dinner.

Panini press? No. Never had a need for one. A big arse bacon press and a pan is what I'd use.

Usually a heavy hunk of cast that you can heat up and help things cook flat and a bit from both sides.

Used to have a polished version of this that would fit on the page, but can't find it.
