I don't want to start a new thread somewhere, so here goes...

I want to try some polyfil in my sub box, how much would I need or start with for a .65 ft^3 enclosure? Will 1 lb. be about right?

Should be plenty.

Thanks! :fing34:

I usually use 1-1.5lb per cu.ft. So, 3/4-1 would be fine

You know, I kept getting into arguments with this one dillhole over on carstereo.com (yes, I try to be nice and help out over there to dispell the myths that are still circulating around at that forum). I really can't stand the kid, especially since he tried to lie to us and tell us he has worked for Lightening Audio's tech support for 10 years, when he's only 17yrs old.

Then, today for some reason I decided to look at his profile page over there......and check out the name of his sounddomain page: http://www.carstereo.com/forum/profile.cfm?userid=21818

Here is his AIM from ECA: http://forum.elitecaraudio.com/member.php?...fo&userid=62421

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

That explains why I can't stand the kid :D He hath resurfaced..... :lol2:

If chit doesn't get engulfed in chitflames, the chit is bound to appear again.

Maybe I should go join over on CS :)

That and SD are two forums that I really have no experience with. I lurk very occasionally on ECA, but don't really have the time to check it often.

Mr. Nick Lemmons turned me onto a 50/50 mix of polyfill and FG insulation.

I don't know what affect it has, but it seems more effective than the standard polyfill. I've been using it ever since.

So, Sunday night was my sleepless adventure. I have since decided to rid myself of caffeine and soda pop in general. I have had a huge headache ever since. My girl is a nurse and I was told caffeine is more addictive than any hardcore drug out there and my body is going through withdrawal. I find that rather funny, but I can see that. I'm coming down off my caffeine high. I'll tell you what though, surprisingly, I seem to be sleeping a hell of a lot better.

Braver man than I, my friend...

I'm going to feel bad for the people around me the day I give up caffeine.

It's starting.

Whoever said within a few weeks is looking good right now :)

The thing I hate about CA.com is that 90% of the people don't really know $hit, but think they know everything. And I really love how people try to make it look as if you're saying something you havent said. :fing34:

Hmm, might try and scrounge up some insulation.

Been there, done that. They weren't happy. :lol2:
