I'm going to start carrying meters and sine waves with me so I can give people a rough estimate of just how much power they may be getting to prove them wrong.

If I hear another person say, I'm getting 1200 watts because that's the amp rating, I'm going to punish them.

We try so hard to educate people, for their benefit, yet their ignorance preceeds all that and your efforts fall to futility.
