Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck soldering.

SMD or regular?

You don't know the meaning of self-inflicted torture until you try to solder surface mount components...

Got a weird problem with the xover, I'll see if I can fix it first before bugging you about it.

Have you poked around with a DMM?

What were you using to cut it?

I've never had a problem with cutting PVC...

p10001484ft.jpg

The red line is a ground ... cap connects to the neg point way over there.

Remove the ground, the 7's work. Connect the ground, 7's don't work. Very, very weird.

:lol2:

Nice tape job

Gotta make use of the duct tape somehow - the tower is laying down and the crossover needs to stay in that spot.

Wish I could figure out what is up with that damn xover.

Wire up the other one tomorrow, see if it does the same.

Grab a DMM tomorrow and check to see if everything is in order.

PVC pipe saw

I've used my scroll saw, with a very fine blade, to handle most PVC work that I've needed...for bigger stuff, I've used a Sawzall for the rough cuts, and sanded down closer if I needed it exact.

What blades do you have for the circ? That might not have been a bad choice, if you had a fine-toothed blade for it (not a ripping blade).
