Local shops wanted 2.00 for a foot of 8 ga.. wtf -.-

Just ordered 250 roll for ~110 dollars.

They also wanted 7$ for 1/0 too.. Jesus

Need some 4 ga? I have a 100' roll I'll sell for $1/ft. Must buy whole roll.

How about 5.5' for 4.50 man? I'm on a budget bro.

LOL thanks. Though, I was just tugging on Ryans 8 gauge.

My son also found my old collection of CD's....they are primarily all rap from my younger days. Not really my preference now-a-days, but I'll probably spend a few nostalgic days cycling through them in the car.

I will admit though, I was pretty excited to pop Sir Mix A Lot "Posse on Broadway" in the car today biggrin.png

Sure wish I had a system in there though sad.png

I have Buttermilk biscuits and Square dance rap in my collection. I love teh oldskool rap.

WTF??? Lost me with those two.

J

Obviously you are younger than we are.

Yep. By a small bit. Just turned 27 in March.

J

I turned 37 in March...

When I was 22 I was propositioned by a 47 Y/O.

Yeah, I think it was the same as Pengs. 4/28.

It's ok. 95% of it was great but 5% fly in my ointment ruins it all.

Happy Belated Birthday!!

Indeed I resorted and tagged my funk collection a couple nights back. Of course that involved some listening :)

I say you win. She could buy you beer before you could.

Never hit it, but had a LOT of chances. I was quite shy.

Shit I fucked the slutty music teacher when I was a senior (barely 18) numerous time, in numerous places.

She was only 27 though.

Late night post. I seriously haven't been up this long in a while.

Had to stay up late for my dumbass project for school.

It's my damn undergrad class and it's been the biggest pain in my ass. Can't wait to get it over with.

So one week from now I will be done with school for ever! Thank goodness! Though, I still have to finish up the Thesis. Now time to start looking for a real job.

There is a realtor that cancelled on seeing the house at 5 this evening and is supposed to come at 11 tomorrow (technically this morning). My ass will be asleep so hopefully they don't disturb me :P

I was looking at this to, they cost $269.00.

http://www.biggreene...ories/bbq-guru/

Sean uses the stoker. I'm not sure why, but I remember also liking that option more when I looked into both.

It's been a while. I have so many other things I need to spend money on, and even more that I want to right now.

I think want will > the need.

If I don't get a vacation from the world I'm going to loose it. I have a life support for 4 grown adults in my hands. I'm on unemployment, and uneducated.

Roomie has a masters in some super awesome info security from the U of MN and a BA in game development. I would be close to the 6 figure range right now with that. If I fully networked....... it, man oh man.

Internet control on the stoker. I can be on the lake and turn up the temp smile.png

Also allows longer cable runs. My controller is in the basement in my 19" rack with everything else, 1/4" stereo jack drilled through the wall.

And the free stoker log software rocks. Let's you see stability over time and fix your fine tuning of venting while using slow & low methods.

I like yours better I think. What was the cost of yours?

I have that DigiQ with the 10cfm fan, works great. Now that I know more about it, I wish I would have spent the extra money and gotten the one Sean has. Its really nice to set and forget, but there are plenty of times I'd like to know where its at from my phone and be able to change it.

Anyone have rec'd on project boxes? Something around 6"x4" probably.

Don't search as I am not sure on the size yet...

For work on all our sensor power supply boxes we use Hoffman boxes, little more than what you are wanting to spend though I bet.

http://www.alliedelec.com/search/productdetail.aspx?SKU=70066815

For personal use on my BGE for mounting my DigiQ controller in, I picked up one of these network boxes that I think will work pretty well.

Might copy you on the BGE. I am going to re-route the way the Stoker is and that would protect the connectors and hold the power supply. Need to add some waterproof electrical pass throughs and BAM.

The hoffman is overkill for holding 4 volume knobs. There facility is only about 20min away. I've sold them load cells in the past for monitoring some presses and such :)

Oh, and a XLR stereo fader would work for me too. Not sure why I didn't think of that earlier. Actually sort of a nice option in that it would reduce my knob count to 3.

I season alot of things when cooking but ribeye's is NOT one of them. I love seasoning though, I buy new ones almost everytime I go to the store. smile.png

That is pretty bonkers. Moving from a 2D surface to a 3D molded to your touch surface.

Nein, you are not quite following.

When a chef says "seasoning" he means salt.

I don't and won't own a pre-packaged "seasoning" mix. You are paying for 1/8oz of herbs and really expensive salt. Just salt on your own. I would buy seasoning mixes if they would not contain salt.

Complete sacrilege to not salt meat. It does all sorts of wonderful things and making them salty isn't one of them.

To each their own, I like my ribeye just ther way I cut it.

I make my own blends of seasoning in batches and bottle them. :)

Considering his voice on Baby Got Back its funny to hear such a higher pitch.

Whenever I prepare good cuts of meat all I "season" with is fresh rough ground pepper and some kosher salt... Usually let it sit at room temp till it reaches around room temp and throw it on the grill is HOT and ready.. If you know what I mean.
