Apparently Mark has nothing to do with Mach5 any more.

Interesting news. I poured a ton of time and energy into helping him grow Mach5, we made nothing on the product and I mean ZERO. He was a good guy, but as soon as he thought it was a good idea to team up with Sound Digital (who have a hard on for Stetsom), then tells me Mach5 is getting out of the industry and to take down the section. Only to see a couple months later, there is a section up on CrapCo..... now he is done with it? After Stereo Integrity and Mach5 pulled that, I am no longer helping another brand because there is ZERO loyalty or gratitude in this stupid bullshit dance.

I'm sorry, there should have been a question mark at the end of my question. It was not meant to be a statement. In speaking with him, I gathered he wanted to distance himself from the other manufacturers here and broaden his customer base to a "cheaper" clientel. He was all about the budget minded from the get go and wanted to be known as simply that. What I see with the company now leads me to believe he has sold all rights and is no longer involved or has gone bonkers and is engineering and machining things himself.

I thought he was going to go real world with the brewing instead of audio?

Sorry to hear that you guys got the short end of the stick there. Unfortunately people have become increasingly ungrateful for people giving them some help or a fair shot. I know I have been guilty of that before myself.

It's ok. Mark warned me. It was my morals and good nature that has continued to get in the way of our business growth.

Compromise your morals for money and see if you can look your kid in the eye or yourself in the mirror. At the end of the day, yes it is a business and must be ran as such, but you cannot violate your own ethics for profit.

J

You mean like Skar?

That would imply there were morals present to begin with.

Do you have any shots of the skeletal structure? I'd love to see the mechanics! The new job has me working a lot with pneumatic actuators and I'm finding them to be very verstile and resilient to environmental change albeit a bit more expensive.

Would you like a photo? You could hang it on a wall and next time a customer pisses you off, tell them, "I'm going to put THAT on your body if you don't shut the fuck up!"

Hey Sean, can you link me to specs of the XT19's? They would be for my '94 Ford F-250. I would mount them on the a-pillars and match to whatever mid you suggest. A 6.5" is what fits in the top front corner of the door. I will be running a single 10" Aura in a sealed enclosure thats down firing, with box where the center console was. I would like to do all processing with the amp's. I am contemplating your JL amps as they are at a great price, BUT don't know if they are overkill or just right for the active setup in a work truck?

I don't have any pictures of the inside. Most of these props are very simple to make, the finish is where the money is at. As for your pneumatic needs check ebay bimba stuff is cheap. If there is something special you are needing ask me I may have it or know where to get it.

Not sure, not made anymore. 3/4" Ring Radiator. Great tweet, superb off axis, but doesn't play super low.

Is this an easy tweeter to tame? I don't think I would have much problem finding a 6.5 to play up to them and mid is literally in the top front corner of the door.

I've been learning a heck of a lot about routers the past couple days.

Not being able to leave well enough alone I just changed my router to a custom firmware. Not sure what changed exactly but I'm getting more than double the speeds in some locations.

Also about to set up a second router in the living room on the same network so I will have great signal everywhere in the house! Whoop!

@Stefan,

I would really like to be that comfortable on a bike. Not sure entirely how useful it would be, but it would be nice to have that kind of bike control. If you are into that style, youtube Jorian Ponomareff. He has well put-together professional videos similar to this one.

Not much to tame. Works well, pretty easy on aiming and flexible for poor mounting locations. Only disadvantage is the higher Fs, but that is made up for in off axis response. The ring radiator design works really well.

I have wanted to try this tweeter for quite some time as I want to play with a ring radiator tweet. Sounds like a great option for an active setup using amps. I should be able to find an easy to tame mid to match being as I will be using a 6.5 midrange or an 8" if I can fit. I will shot you a PM about price.

Yeah it's pretty amazing stuff. I don't care much for standing up the bike, doing back flips, but being able to wheelie like that, and drift into corners is awesome.
