Ok I am thinking of firing my subs up rather than foward. Any thoughts? Currently my 12's fire foward and I would like to do something different.

Use the same depth and height, with port on same face, then you can do back, up, and forward?

I remember reading something about not using equal dimension lengths, but I'm somewhat skeptical about it being noticable in subbass frequencies.

What Car?

F-150 extra cab and the box is sealed not ported.

When did you get an F-150?

Stefan - looks good

Egg heat - I've melted portions of a 1750f gasket, got it hot enough to shatter the glass on the thermometer. At 750 you can still put your hand on my stainless which is aboutbthe only benefit to the c4 over the bge

Neal. - I had better luck up versus forward but in trucks the position that is easiest to get the air volume normally wins

The Egg exterior probably gets around 170* full tilt I'm going to guess? I can put my hand on it, it won't burn but I sure as heck don't keep it there very long.

My biggest problem is forgetting to burp it as high temps, I've lost hair on my hands to that one as well as having melted parts of my gasket by putting a stone to close to the sidewall. In addition to cooking I've also done heat shrink fits on a Ford 8n ring gear onto the flywheel on my egg. smile.png

Ugh, we have a training going on down here this week so I walked down to the food room to grab some coffee. Terrible coffee. I don't know who butchered it today, but it was bad. It also had the nice logo 'We proudly brew Starbucks'. Yuck.

The only good thing I know of them is they are not an anti firearm business. Other than that, I can't remember the last time I gave them money. If I choose a chain, its a Caribou joint or the local coffee shop.

But it has the illusion of sophistication, idiots love that stuff.

Some UV ink I did the other day one a sleeve I am working on.

I had wanted to do some UV fill on my arm, but I was suggested not to because of the ink not being approved for health reasons yet.

I wanted to do similar to this, but could not find a local guy to do it.

20091005-uv-2.jpg

The UV ink is radioactive, BUT the particles are encapsulated so that it does NOT come in contact with the blood stream. Or so the say. lol

Actually the UV ink has been FDA approved for 60 years for use on animals.

I normally stay away from new tech until its been around for a while and I see the long term effects. Another good indicator if a tattoo ink is safe is if its approved for use in Europe, as they have WAY stricker standards on inks. I use the Skin Candy brand, which has been around for awhile and is Europe approved.

I am wanting to do a nice install and if I fire up I can mount the amps on the lower part of the box behind the seats. That will make is look clean.

Summer is the most expensive and when all of Europe is on vacation.  Early Sept would be super easy.

Or early June. Everybody loves late July / August for vacations. Personally I don't :)
