For anyone whose used rivnuts, do they require anything special or in addition to the standard hand rivetgun?

You can not use a standard gun unless it had a mandrel on it.

:thanx:

Looks like I have a tool laying around from when we used jacknuts for a bike bar mount, looks to be the same or similar to "rivnuts."

harbor freight sells a kit that has the mandrel and riv nuts in it

Our favorite thing to do is snuggle on the couch.

I love snuggly kids. Can't believe my wife grew up in a house where they didn't even hug. Hell it is more common for me to hug her brothers than their mom too. Should see the jealous look in her eye as well, which is fucking stupid because all she had to do was show that she cared as they grew up.

Sweet I'll have to check it out, or perhaps I can find just the mandrel tip for mine. Thanks for the link.

I understand completely.

The kids snuggle with me and tease their mom and dad. Gavin ask his mom if uncle Neal (me) could spend the night with him tonight, he wanted to play monster trucks tonight. You are right a hug goes a long way.

We still do that! :roflmao:

On a serious note, always cool to be able to hang out with the kids. My aunt waited forever to have a kid, now all the cousins are grown up, and her kid is three, but it's fun.

Once she's older, I want to teach her math, in a way as a gift. Doesn't sound very exciting I know, but I figure I can help her be one step ahead so to speak.

Funny. Good memory.

Amusingly I may have to go there next week even though they wanted me there this week. Intel has some troubles I can help with, but I can't travel atm. If we had more time to prepare perhaps we could have found a nanny or service for during the day and brought mini-me 1 and 2.l
