I don't have a rear deck to mount to.

I'm thinking about sticking the extra battery in that cavity to the right of it. That's where the stock bass combo thingy majig was. Fiberglass a container in there, rivet in, mount the battery on it's side.

Then make a big amp rack.

The current picture looks pretty clean to me, which was the goal, but with the big enclosure sitting on top, it doesn't anymore. Not to mention if I ever change amps I have to redo the top panel.

If you guys have any favorite "clean" installs, post'em up. :D

Oh and my spare tire is underneath all that, so with the battery on side, a giant quick disconnect (8 speaker wires, 4 power wires, rem, and rca signal), and some gas lift supports, then I could actually use the spare if need be.

i cant quite judge the depth of your trunk so i cant tell if this would work.

i know this is a trunk install but it might give you an idea.

considering you have a large sub enclosure its hard to access amps and so forth without removing the enclosure.

this is what i worked out in my bro's car.

notice the false floor.

hinged panel gives access to amp w/o removing enclosure. i think if you did something with you false floor you would have room for more amps adjacent (to the left or right) to the amp pictured. i was constrained to the spare tire well.

after removing the enclosure the panel hinges again to give you access to the other amps.

wish i had pictures of this.. the whole amp rack pivots giving access to the spare.

So clean.

That is a pretty good idea to conserve trunk space. I've seen something similar before and thought it was clever too

DC650.6. :)

Doesn't look like a DC reference. Those have different terminals :P

Yup, it's a 1000.4 and a 500.1.

New ride, in all of her glory.

'94 Roadmaster. LT1 engine. 85K miles. Going to be nice to drive a car again. So fucking sick of driving the damn van.

Wasn't a hard find, it was my grandma's :P They bought it brand new. I actually have the original invoice. Very meticulous records kept on the car, every oil change/etc was logged in a notebook that she sent home with me as well.

Yup, brought her home today. Took a while, didn't want to feel like I was swooping in on their stuff as soon as my grandpa passed away. But she called me about it last week, so I didn't feel as bad about it.

Nice pickup brad!

Dude, it's a car, not a pickup!

Unless you're talking about the GMC in the background, in which case, thanks. :P

5 shots and I'm good. She's got multiple holes, very little body fat, and when everything's spinning, you can't tell how their face looks anyways.
