Will do Sean.

I also just saved myself from a ticket, that was slightly scary, won't go into details.

Great way to start the day...

Speaking of tb, they have a 3" neo midrange with bamboo cone that looks like a possibility. Ill find a link later.

Wow, I wouldn't have guessed luggage was so expensive.

Wait until you look at quality women's luggage.

Anything with an unconditional lifetime warranty you're going to have to pay good money for.

Just did. I have some very particular requests.

Must haves:

Global luggage - 20" or 22" at way most, if 22" it has to be slender

Computer sleeve - with EASY access for the TSA line

3 1 1 compartment - again with EASY access for the TSA line

Tall enough handle

Nice rolling wheels

Can't look ridiculous at a customer site. This would win for $100 if I didn't care, but it isn't very professional looking 4121022.png

Huge bonus:

Suiter - or way of transporting shirts and pants on a hanger

Beverage holder

Reliable zippers

Not going to fail quickly, although if its cheap enough I can deal with 5 years or so

Separate location for dirty clothes

Location for dop kit (small though as the 3 1 1 keeps most of it)

Potential for carrying a pair of shoes, isolating them is great

Nice access for other business items (leatherbound notebook, power supplies, business cards etc)

Needless to say, only Briggs & Riley and Travel Pro seem to have solutions. Victorinox almost does but there is no beverage holder or 3 1 1 pouch of any kind.

Going to go buy this today and then see if it works for me. Too cheap, but it has literally the rest. Japan/Europe may not allow it as a carry on though, but it is really easy to return things to JC Penney if I can get by with less space.

Hell, will return it either way as I have no coupon now and my sister in law works indirectly for them and gets a discount.

Hmmm, well Osprey, Boyt, Eagle Creek are the only other brands that come to mind

Can't really go wrong with TravelPro, they're basically the de-facto brand for pilots

Haven't seen a Boyt, but Osprey is to backpackie and Eagle Creek doesn't have a good business solution. Great like the above Tpro, but not what I need.

*off to search Boyt

Personally, even with bundle wrapping I've never been able to get my clothes to fit into anything short of a 24". I don't think I'd fair very well with just a carry-on

I carry on a full garment bag atm.

For a 2 day I just carry my laptop bag. I need something for a 3-5 day

Just bought the cheap TPro bag from Penneys for $140. If I can pack and have space left over I'll return it and get the briggs. If I don't need the suiter I might buy the ugly Tpro Bold, and if it happens to end up being the only option I'll return it and then have my sis-in-law buy it for $80

Figured the easiest way is to pack in it. Going to be funny to pack for a trip that isn't happening.

I got my exodus' in the doors:

leftside.JPG

Still need to make a trim piece to cover the hacked up part of the door and speaker, and order deadener for the doors. Then I'll be able to tell if they work out in the doors (IB) or not.

I'm still going to try a midrange driver in lieu of the tweeter, mounted on the dash, and see if I like that more then the hds tweets.

If you can't get them ON axis it is really NOT a good idea.

I can, as long as the OD is under 3.5". Now if I decided to go with a bigger midrange (~4"), then see below.

The stage height improved immensely when I placed the tweeters up on the dash, I'm curious if the tweets were aimed differently in the kicks if that could achieve similar results. Though I thought even if they were a bit off in the kicks, the stage height wouldn't have affected.

Otherwise I could always put a midrange + tweeter in the kicks, that won't take up much room, and I could use the on-board amp on the ms8 for the tweets. :trippy:

Definitely different aiming in your kicks can do the same.

4" is rather big for in car, but I LOVE my TB's. Getting them on axis and potentially in an enclosure is a much higher priority.

:fing34: the TB's are fucking fantastic in my kicks.
