Thanks for info and pics Jared, looks perfect.

I also wanted to get away from the volcano look, I trimmed down the base and tried to make it more even with the baffle so the sides aren't so slanted from small panel to big panel.

Jared,

Have you used the "EB General Purpose Polyester Resin" from uscomp, or 435 Standard Polyester Layup Resin?

Gelcoat and styrene?

I know Audibel Customs told me some of the stuff he uses a while back, time to search through posts and pms.

My area is limited in sports stores and I did not want to travel more than 50 miles.

My wife thought it was a night and day difference between the front and read drive. I can't remember what she said was the difference though. lol Most companies have a return period if you find something you like more. I think ours had a 90 day.

I earned a 1k commission on a side job I did back in october and was going to give it all to Aaron and Mark for some ZED Dreadnought love, but the wife had other plans. The things we will do for pussy.

I don't plan on returning it (I hope). I just set up the program online for me and spent 30 minutes on it and my body is burning. So it is working something.

What you said about the explorer's suspension is always in the back of my head when I think about suspension changes. I have softer, oval bushings in the control arms, loads less vibrations transferred to the body. Trying to get a balance between rough road comfort and on-road stability. It is a box on 2 sticks after all though so I won't ask much...

IIRC at some point you said that the Explorer ended up with a too firm ride from poly bushings and other upgrades. And that makes me think "keep it simple" :)

Thanks! I'll get some pipe and measure to see what I have to do to mold flush with the flange, then I'll let you know.

They can only do what the idiot behind the volume knob tells them to.
