I really want to look at a premier reticle heritage now, and a US optics.

Ryan, I got to get my eyes and hands on a nice NF scope. It felt like I could club seals with it. Nice peice of metal. It was a 5-22.

This made me giggle. :)

It was a beast, and now that I have been looking online again I don't think it was one of their high end NXS units.... I will have to see if I can get my hands on one.

Nope. At least, he said she didn't think she was. She wasn't sure and he mentioned her drinking with him shortly after, lol.

They used 27 players that game. It's pretty obvious how the Rays were able to come back.

Yeah, by scoring more runs than the Yankees. John Madden could tell you that.

NO, they WON by scoring more runs. The fact that the Yanks went through pretty much their entire bench was the reason they were able to do so.

Two of my friends have Makita buffers. Another has a generic piece of shit. I am sick of having them loan theirs to me, but if I am dropping $150+ I'd like to make sure I get something decent. Obviously I've had good luck with the Makita, but anything else you guys would look at?

The machine really has nothing to do with it. About the only thing i would worry about would be variable speed, but even that's not a necessity. My dad has an old Milwaukee that I love, but it's about 30 years old and heavy as shit and makes stretching over large horizontal panels very difficult. I went to Harbor Freight and bought a cheap buffer for $30 and it's been working fine for about 5 years now.

Interesting, my buddy bought a cheap one online and the thing is so far out of balance it isn't usable. I figured all the cheap ones were that way. By no means am I a pro, but I've spent a good 100+ hours holding one so I am not a tard either.

Well that's a given being it was out of balance. It was probably dropped during transit, but that's easily assessable once you plug it in for the first time. If it doesn't feel right, take it back.

Now, I am assuming you are talking about a polisher not a buffer correct? What I am talking about appears like a grinder, not the little handheld turd with handles on it.

Had a crazy thought for laying out my kitchen differently, but to try it I need to add about 7" of height to my current kitchen table. The legs are 2x2 teak, but I don't care if it matches at all. Just an experiment that will last a few months so that I can decide what to buy.

They are wood so I could dowel, put in a threaded rod, etc. but would like to be able to remove whatever I attach so a permanent gluing is out of the question. Any ideas?

Put a 2x2 under it and a collar to go around.

Couldn't agree more....but what would you use for a collar?

Duct tape!

Yes. Bought a Klutch today, but can return it. Northern Tool brand...

Still $80, but I'll drive by Harbor Freight before I open it.
