I was up at reddington pass one weekend shooting, guy pulls up, sets a piece of metal out 50 yards, shoots it with an ar15, doesn't go through, fires an ak47 and blows a hole right through.

I haven't followed anything in the firearm worlds for years, but I know they were trying to make popular an "in between round" that was supposedly the best of both worlds, 6.8 or something.
